Why say "Women and Children..." and exclude the men? Second, you attack me personally without even knowing who I am using a word commonly used in propaganda.

  • Thereason it was a women and children march was to highlight the huge number of women and children killed in Israel's attack. The main rally in Trafalgar Square was open to everybody. We have already had countless protests open to everybody and we will be having another one on Saturday 24 January. I must say your criticism of the title seems a bit pedantic, does it upset you for some strange reason?

  • It is exclusionary...we must work together to remedy these problems. More men and children have been killed than women and children. Are women's lives somehow more important?

  • Its symbolic - we are working together and 99.9% of the men involved in the campaign would vehemently reject your criticism. You are a deeply insecure individual if you object to a small, symbolic representation of the scores of women and children killed in Gaza. Children are more important because they are clearly non-combatants and women are almost never combatants.

  • Its true, many innocent men have been killed - your objection isn't about the title but about the fact that this small protest doesn't include men

    - other than as organisers, stewards and supporters - ie men are totally involved but not the main focus, which is obviously deeply threatening to you for some reason. Just let it go and don't try to lecture us on inclusivity
