I thought the radio didn't work unless you had the headset plugged in because it used the headset wire as it's antenna. Maybe it works without it but with the antenna probably gets way better reception.

bro, i am using Sprint's HTC touch pro 2. I installed the HTC FM radio from XDA developers as u said but it doesnt work. the program loads but i dont hear anything. Please help. Leave a message to me on youtube on this if u can. it wud help alot. Plus, wats the rom u have on ur phone. Mine is Mightyrom

Just installed this on my US Tmobile Touch Pro 2. Install was flawless and the program worked correctly after doing a soft reset. I get all my favorite stations here in Chicago, and reception is super clear even in the outer suburbs where I live. You can find the FM Radio cab in the XDA-Developers website. I recommend picking up some things from there for your Windows mobile phones. No point in having Windows Mobile if you don't take a chance and make several changes to it. Cheerio!!

That looks like the T-Mobile US vers. of HTC TP2. Is it not? If it is, how were you able to sucessfully install FM Radio. Everytime I try, my installation status bar fills half way up, then i get a msg sayin it cant be installd. NO REASON WHY! i think it'd make a good addition to my WinMo phone. Any advice?

I just saw in three places on the Net that U. S. pricing will be $800 without a contract .

On eBay someone is selling them for $650 with a two year T-Mobile contract and a $90 monthly plan.

The phone is being promoted as a business phone so the price will be higher.

I suspect T-Mo will be selling it at $400 to $500 with a two year contract.

We shall see on Aug 12.
