Well it hasn't done it since the mixture was changed, but I have to agree, I was surprised. It didn't sound like friction or anything catching, more like air/gas passing through a seal causing the seal to vibrate.
Also can someone please tell me how you turn the thermosat up more than 20 degrees ?! We've got a thermasot we turn to desired level but it never sets keeps going back to 20! Help!
You seem to have exactly the same one as mine. Mine also makes sudden funny noises like its gonna break something inside especially when running the bath or shower then the water runs cold. It only happens every now and then. What does that mean?
@interyournan87 - A Worcester engineer came round in the end and did this, it hasn't happened since but since it's been summer it has barely been on. Seems ok for now though

@phoebs50 this was fixed by a Worcester engineer who adjusted the air/gas mix. i's done using an emissions monitor and adjusting to get a clean burn.

@phoebs50 ours didn't stop heating when this happened, just made annoying noise

your emmissions need to be adjusted by a gas engineer. thank worcester for that.
