The National Park Service is retarded! I was camping at a pre-existing campsite in Allegheny NF one time,and they gave one of us a ticket for camping within 100 feet of the reservoir,which was bullshise. So this was in Pennsylvania and my friend was a military veteran from Kentucky, he decides not to pay the $100 fine. They start sending threatening letters to his house and he replies all proper, ie "stop wasting paper". He ends up with a job in the Grand Tetons a couple years later and they-

Just to let all you missunderstanders know, this is nothing the fault of the NPS. Why blame the messenger. We need to address the source, the Audubon, Sierra Club, Southern Defenders of Wildlife and other such organizations. They are the groups responsible for shutting down our beaches and the ones who deserve prosecution for the forceful removal of our rights that were given to us over 50 years ago.

Once again, please do research before opening you fat trap. If this land wasn't federally owned it would look like Myrtle Beach. It is the government ownership of the land that stops it from being over developed. Also back when the government was good(Theodore Roosevelt) our national parks were set up as hunting, fishing and recreation areas to be protected by the park service. Without outside interference they could maybe do a good job.

Lets bring this back to what this whole thing is about. MY island is being harassed by people who were given false authority. Where in this did you come to the conclusion that I like the Feds or the Park Narcs. Just because I defend them from senseless verbal abuse does not mean I like them. I know people who are Park Rangers, some of them are nice, good people. Others just abuse power. It's just hard to justify blanket statements.
