His name is Juri Shatunov, he was born in 1973. After his parents died he had been living in orphan school in Orenburg (since 1986). In 1988 he was asked to take part in Laskoviy May boys-band, produced by Rasin. The boys-band existed till 1992.
Im from Ukraine, it was one of the former USSR republic, so I was in the same shoes as all russian teens when Laskoviy May was popular. Sincerely speaking Im not a real Shatunov's fan, so I dont know much about him ( info written above I took from russian internet resources, special for you). But off course, as many people posting there I find this song really nostalgic.

Zawsze uwielbiałem Jurę Szatunowa i jego zespół, od momentu, kiedy tylko się pojawili... To już 18 lat, Boże mój, jak ten czas leci, człowiek dopiero kończył podstawówkę, a za 2 miesiace z kawałkiem skończę już 32 lata...
