  • I wanna build mine exactly like that.

    (Catch fish with)

  • @Cablo102 OK, but remember that the fish is heavy and would pull down the boat, so i think you need to have a way to make your boat with more "buoyancy" on the prop side.

Send me a video when it's ready.

  • thanks for the help and the web site is great

  • @DifficultyisEasy I'm using a flex drive. The end is M4 but you can aply a drive dog.

  • i am thinking of buying one of these boats on ebay and i would like to know if i could use a petrol motor in it? if not what would be the best sized brushless motor for it

  • @braaapsterful Hi, a IC engine is not the best choice for this hull in my opinion. The hull is made of plastic and not fibreglass. I used an electric motor as you know nevertheless reinforced with fiberglass. An engine has much more trepidation and the heat could melt any part of the hull. I think you'd better go for electric if you're really thinking buying this hull...But you have much better now. Take a look in this site: r2hobbies (Products-RC boats- E.P. Boats)

  • Fine! Go for it!!!

Just remember that a boat needs more power than a car. Every single part must be stronger and bigger. Think as you have to power a 1/5 racing car. Don't forget its direct transmition, no gear box. Please let me see the results.

  • Center of Gravity

  • what the hell is CG?

  • thats sweet man. what exactly did you do to it? and how much did it cost you?

  • I took out everything of the boat and just kept the hull. Re-enforced it with fiber glass. Got a RC motor, battery and esc and i fited all parts in it. It costs about €200 (without the hull).
