  • my nana said im related to him from marage

  • NZ is great country and has offered the world many talented people due to our unique postion in the world. May it continue that we offer a bit of NZ to everyone. Also for better or worse we still call NZ home!!

  • Well done on the slideshow. Great song too.

  • @BlackHawk30622 how could you not know?

  • i have never really thought about the fact that we (nz) are such a small area .. i am so proud of our country . we stay out of wars as best as we can . we live life in a peaceful land full of nature and loving people and im never gona leave :D i love it here!!! its crazy how proud i am to be living in a world like i do away form the crazyness of politics and war and urbanised land ... there is nothing better than walking through a forrresst

    <3 nz 4 life! <3

  • LOLZ i'm doing that song for my house singing

  • congratulations, kid. Keep doing this stuff - not just for class. You have things to say, by the looks. Be proud, be creative.

  • AWESOME!

I often play this when I get homesick...doesn't help but gives me the warm fuzzies. Thanks for taking the time to put this together - you should be proud of yourself.

  • thats awesome...

it really hurts to care but brings back memories of the good times...good on ya!

  • This song makes me VERY VERY proud to be a new zealander

  • The word racist is said too easily these days why dose it have to come up all the time peace to all

  • luv this song dave dobbyn rox and he got a great singin spirit

  • @harobmx123

um... what? have you ever listened to the song? do you even know the history of the song?

you know, it's one thing to be proud and protective of your country, it's another thing to be so close minded to other people coming in, that's it's bordering on racist.

  • So you have no idea what the song's about... but you're going to protest about it anyway? Damned disabled or something terrorists.

  • You make me sick with racist comments like that and FYI Im a proud New Zealand citizen with Maori, European and Cook Island descent.

Why worry about someone who you probably have nothing to do with? Go dig a hole and jump in it or something!!!

  • Thank you from the bottom of my heart... this clip is better than the original - no disrespect meant to Dave Dob of course. Friend - I have posted this for every new member on our site, a site that is there to assist people move to safe places around the world during these troubled times. Thank you. Respect and gratitude... we ARE one xx

  • are these pics to remind us of what we dont have in NZ?

  • lol

  • good pics

  • congrats on your work. is it a movie? think it is a slide show.. anyway, well done

  • well done dude what youve done is amazing!

  • this song always gives me goosebumps when i listen to it. its got so much emotion behind it. it was also played in tribute to the pilots of the Air New Zealand air plane that crashed

  • ya tu meke bro

  • tu meke

  • THIS SONG IS IS AWSOME!!!

  • Kia ora kuzie broooo!!! lmao. kei te pehea e hoa? xD

  • Dave DIDN'T make the vid!!!! Check the title slide -

  • "i kill you" lol

  • Really? How do you know? Nobody, including you and me, can prove if he was or wasn't. New Zealand Security Intelligence Service could not find anything and that's why he was allowed to stay. Or did you suck him and he told you in payment?

  • At 2:35 one cannot help but feel great humility.

  • Your the best, I always feel home sick when I'm a million miles from home and hear this song.

  • oh no ''way to liberal'' lol because we cant have a voice of our own. lol

  • Well done mate. Good work. A+

  • you're entitled to your opinion.

  • You're grasping at straws if you think that this song represents that. Perhaps a thinly veiled excuse to rant and scaremonger?

Hmmm, your opinion of course but it's a laugh that you've attributed this song to the reasons you've mentioned.

  • "Suspected terrorist" who was cleared by the courts to stay here. And that's what we love about this country, don't we? Democracy. Rule of law. So quit complaining or you may sound like a hypocrite.

  • @Rkayde79 are you retarded?

  • to any kiwis in amsterdam: dave is playing on the 24th Nov at sugar factory. Kia Ora

  • Great song complemented by an excellent video. Thankyou.

  • where did u get the pic of dubyah? *cringes*

  • Kia ora Phantom40 for posting this...hope your assignment went well. It's been 2 long years since i left NZ, up until today i never thought i missed the place, but watching your VID, a sad & yearning feeling came over me mate. I'll always "LOVE" AOTEAROA, no matter where i am in this world...Kia U, Kia Kaha, Kia Manawanui i to te whanau....Ti hei "MAURI ORA"....NGAPUHI FOR LIFE.

  • Love the message... Love the music... Love you Dave... you've been around all my life singing the Anthems of what being kiwi is all about... Kia kaha my brotha

  • An absolutly awesome song which pulls on the heart strings

  • I love this song and miss NZ heaps. Going home from the UK at Xmas and can't wait. We are a multicultural nation and people say we aren't patriotic but you only have to meet kiwis overseas to realise just how proud of being kiwis we are - no matter where we originally came from.

  • I only moved here 5 years ago, but the minute I walked off the plane, I felt like I was "coming home"...to a place I'd never even been before.

I watch this video at least once a day; quite well done.

  • Kia Ora mate.... I was born in Aussie and have alway said i was born in Oz and grew up in NZ... God I miss the place....

Upmost love to all fellow kiwis. You all have a very special place in my heart

  • I always take growing up in NZ for granted. And sometimes I wish that I was born somewhere exciting like America. But now I realised that I would be nuts to not appreciate the country I was born and raised in, and live in. Glad to see other people appreciate it too :)

  • Kia ora well done mate, im from england and i went around the world, and had a great time in new zealand, i was always made wlcome,

i must go day one day and vist some friends and and family

  • GO THE KIWIS

  • i agree with them
