The easiest way to do slow mo in the new imovies is just to simply stabilize the clip, then set the clips speed to anything above 100 percent. Works great.

that was almost the correct way to do it but still no,

to fix the audio which by the, its not youtube that messes it up, its just imovie hd, well anyways the way to fix the audio is once your COMPLETELY done editing on imovie hd, select every clip then go to the top of the screen and click "Advanced" then a drop down will come up then click "Extract Audio" then give it a few minutes for it to do its job and once all the audio comes up under the clips, click export and it will work perfectly

yes it would. you just have to export the finished video back into 08 and then up to youtube from there.

umm could you be more specific? umm the first thing that comes to mind is that you have too many slow motion parts. so for example if you had 10 boxes for the ramp, try having 7 or something.
