@Almujic Hey man, i know ur comment was posted a while ago but here: America sent a spy to work for Mackarov (a russian terrorist) so that they will know where mackarovs hide-out is. unfortunatley that required the spy to act like a terrorist and kill civilians. once all is done, Mackarov shoots the american spy bcoz he knew who the spy was since the beggining. Now, Russia finds out that an american had killed alot of civilians in the airport as his body is lying there D: hence the war bagins :D

Shut the fuck up. If it was a cutscene or some other alternative to show what happened - it wouldn't have the same emotional impact. There would be no sense of urgency to stop the terrorists (game and real life wise). If people would grow a set of balls and witness the atrocities of what terrorism is - it'll make them angry at terrorism instead of being afraid of it.
