  • Amazing video

  • What are the dimensions of the tank? Im considering buying an emerald tree boa and not sure what size is appropriate.

  • good video..favorite part..."and you can cut it...ohhhhhh so easyy"

  • How much do they usually cost???

  • @SUPERSLURPZ Expensive as shit, a nice captive bred baby is almost $500

  • @789snakeboy

No, Green Tree Pythons are an aboreal member of the python group of snakes and are found in the old world. Emerald tree boas are an aboreal form of the boa, and are found in the new world...south america. The similarities you see in both species are due to convergent evolution, where species with similar life histories (ie aboreal lifestyle in the canopy) will have similar morphology, pattern, color, and prey.

  • @rednosepit301 they say a snake good for beginners is a milk snake idk if you are a beginner with snakes in general

  • Really nice footage of the etb=]

  • I want a tree boa soo bad. they r such interesting creatures. My freind has one and he says its "highly agressive" but when i hold it and touch it its fine. do u have any issues with urs?

  • I am trying to get a tree python or tree boa, which one should I start off with? Is it true they do not like being held, which 1 is the best for a beginners tree snake?

  • I was just wondering i really want a pet snake rather a emerald tree boa or just a tree python but i don't want it to get big and i want one that's not going to be vicious so which one would you say is better for a beginner? Right now i have a ball python and corn snake but want something different that wont be to hard to take care of so which one would you recommend out of the two and how much would it cost / how big would it grow? Thanks.

  • @deniston81 i know, especially when people torture the poor rodents before the snake eats them. I mean the poor things are about to be EATEN, don't treat them that way.

  • wow she's beautiful

  • this, and an anaconda are the only snakes i would ever get. totally badass.

  • how big do they get

  • Very nice looking tree boa.

  • the humidity doesnt look like its very high

  • lol what a process to remove a emerald tree boa from his vine :P

but man she looks really tamed! really nice snake man!

  • very beautiful snake!

  • and ondre200, ive got an exo-terra like u, same size i believe too. Ive got a baby female rtd/pastel boa, checkout my 2 vids, 1 of a feeding n 1 jus a handling vid. She doesnt climb n hangout off the ground nearly as much as the etb's, but i really like these tanks.. how are they in your exp ? Ive noticed the backdrop and plastic on the top WILL melt but ive still found a way to have my light facedown on the top 24/7 without ne problems.

  • HARDCORECLAN58 - getting bitten is part of owning reptiles, can it hurt ? yes, if the snake is big n on the boa/python side. a bite from a baby python or boa feels like a lil nip, their teeth are EXTREMELY sharp, like hepadermic needles so u dont feel much, if youre really scared n have never owned a snake, id suggest goin wit a milksnake/cornsnake./kingsnake, etc, theyre Cheap, Very easy to take care of, very cheap to own, and you cant even feel their lil teeth

  • ive been wanting a snake but worried that it might bite does that happen wit u

  • @HARDCORECLAN58 A snake bite is more of a shock, it doesn't hurt really at all... Think of it this way a cat or dog bite is way more powerful then this beautiful snake can do

  • stunning snake one of the best i have seen!

  • wat temperature do u have it at???

  • wat temp do they live in?

  • is that like their favorite position to rest in because most of the photos on the internet shows them like this?

  • that's probably dead if you see it hanging like that XD

  • @Mindfreak4510

Hogg Island boas get to around 7 feet.

  • its good to water the snake as well coz thats on of the ways they drink

    absoloutly beautiful snake

  • wow dude, did your etb really die......cant remember who told me that but they said thats why you stopped making vdeos......very sorry to hear that man....but please come back to youtube we love your videos

  • how old is your etb

  • lol I thought she was huge before you put your hand in

  • Her color is beautiful man! Honest to god she has healthy skin!

  • what did u wrap the pipes in?

  • Very handy video! Thanks for this! Love that snake!!!

  • No even after its dry it is very toxic. I Install Irrigation systems and work with pvc glue on a daily basis, Very Toxic stuff.

  • where did you get here from ??ive been looking for one for a while now

  • She looks great! And your video was very thorough with your setup, which is nice by the way. Keep up the good work

  • beautiful etb how much was she i know shes from rico

  • very nice video, loved ur settuup

  • Althought a very pretty set up it isnt the most efficient at keeping consistent humidity. With a screen lid and and a 40w bulb over top that tank will dry out within and hour or two. Misting everyday will help keep the humidity a little higher. You should look into PCV cages with heat panels. Will save you the headache of misting everyday and their way more durable than glass. Very good looking caninus though.

  • lol at first i didn tevan see the snake

  • you got a nice set up man.. good video =] cant wait to get one of these awsome snakes

  • i thought it was 5 inches wide....

  • how much is that whole setup?

  • nice video and snake. I am wanting to get one of these and i really like your setup, Think you could tell me about how much the cage and snake alltogether cost. Also What type of cage is that? I would really appreciate if you could help me out. Thanks.

  • shes pretty, lookin healthy and fine haha

  • hey ondre it's been awhile. I'm just letting you know I'm actually getting an emerald soon. I have a coworker at the zoo I'm working at that is hooking me up with one of his new babies

  • Very cool

  • I want to get one of these green boas.. they get about 7 feet or so according to wiki which would be a perfect size for me.. also, what is thier temperment like? are they docile or aggressive?

  • They are what you make them. Their temperment depends on how often you work with them.

  • are they the same thing as green tree pythons?

  • no, although very similar, boas and pythons are different

  • Hey dude love your tree boa nice enclosure! one off the best ever seen

  • damn i was soo sure it was a white guy by the voice.

  • hey are these emerald ree boas likely to bite

  • Happy belated birthday LOL!

  • Try Petco or Petsmart!

  • @ondre200 scalesntails

  • I have an excellent suggestion, with the pvc perch, paint on a thin coat of GE silicone II, and then cover it with dry coco fiber so you have a nice natural vine look.

  • Sweet, that sounds great, I'm all about the natural...I will be trying that idea!

    Thanks!

  • Check my Cages for my lizards and frogs, its all natural!

  • thats a nice cage but u should get one more safe for earthqakes friend comment opinion

  • How much does an emerald tree boa cost?

  • Thats a Great idea with the pvc pipe but that Pvc Cement/glue is VERY TOXIC. It will actually burn your skin if you come in contact with it and also gives off Very Toxic fumes. Next time look into some non toxic glue, no need for pvc glue, thats overkill and for irrigation installation porposes etc... If you buy the correct size Pvc pipe you wont even need glue if your only using it as substrate Branches for Housing perc etc... Read the warning label on the Glue container, I use it all the time.

  • You are absolutely right, I actually never used it, for those reasons plus I never wanted the perch to be nonflexible...that's why I used the rugged camouflage duck tape. I need to put that in the ANNOTATIONs EDITOR!

Thanks 4 your honest facts!!! $;-)

  • Awesome video! Inspiring - and she is lovely.

  • how big do they get?

  • sweet dude she is beautiful.....where did u buy her fromand how much was her?

  • they aggressive?

and do they really need heat lamp my parents wont aloow me to have light on until night

  • you need a light or some sort of basking heat source. dont listen to ur parents or ur critter will not be so healthy.

  • If thats the case you shouldnt get one

  • Very impressive video, excellent quality footage. The emerald is by far my favorite!

  • yo ondre what kind of tank is that? beautiful snake

  • Is that the 18 W x 18 D x 24 H exo terra? Please respond.

Awesome looking snake by the way.

  • beautiful snake and great cage set-up. I hope to see more of your vids.
