Man, you da man. Don't even listen to any fuckers messing with you. I'd love to kick it with you & your boa, I just got a green california banded kingsnake : ) not quite as exotic, but still beautiful. would you mind if i asked what you payed for her? i'd love to get one someday...
No, Green Tree Pythons are an aboreal member of the python group of snakes and are found in the old world. Emerald tree boas are an aboreal form of the boa, and are found in the new world...south america. The similarities you see in both species are due to convergent evolution, where species with similar life histories (ie aboreal lifestyle in the canopy) will have similar morphology, pattern, color, and prey.
one seriously beautiful snake there man, she obviously got a good owner, perfect condition, good work, i really love these snakes, they are my all time favourite.
@ProTuner06 you should know too south america has beautiful landscapes, beautiful women, and of course.. The best football/soccer is from South America ;-)
what is the best snake for a kind of beginner?emerald tree boa or green tree python,i known non of em are really beginner snakes but ive done alot of research
Such a beautiful snake, I so wish I could have one myself but ive read that they are not good for beginners. Im getting a Ball here soon for my first. She is truly beautiful.
I want a tree boa soo bad. they r such interesting creatures. My freind has one and he says its "highly agressive" but when i hold it and touch it its fine. do u have any issues with urs?
I am trying to get a tree python or tree boa, which one should I start off with? Is it true they do not like being held, which 1 is the best for a beginners tree snake?
I was just wondering i really want a pet snake rather a emerald tree boa or just a tree python but i don't want it to get big and i want one that's not going to be vicious so which one would you say is better for a beginner? Right now i have a ball python and corn snake but want something different that wont be to hard to take care of so which one would you recommend out of the two and how much would it cost / how big would it grow? Thanks.

@deniston81 i know, especially when people torture the poor rodents before the snake eats them. I mean the poor things are about to be EATEN, don't treat them that way.
and ondre200, ive got an exo-terra like u, same size i believe too. Ive got a baby female rtd/pastel boa, checkout my 2 vids, 1 of a feeding n 1 jus a handling vid. She doesnt climb n hangout off the ground nearly as much as the etb's, but i really like these tanks.. how are they in your exp ? Ive noticed the backdrop and plastic on the top WILL melt but ive still found a way to have my light facedown on the top 24/7 without ne problems.
HARDCORECLAN58 - getting bitten is part of owning reptiles, can it hurt ? yes, if the snake is big n on the boa/python side. a bite from a baby python or boa feels like a lil nip, their teeth are EXTREMELY sharp, like hepadermic needles so u dont feel much, if youre really scared n have never owned a snake, id suggest goin wit a milksnake/cornsnake./kingsnake, etc, theyre Cheap, Very easy to take care of, very cheap to own, and you cant even feel their lil teeth
@HARDCORECLAN58 A snake bite is more of a shock, it doesn't hurt really at all... Think of it this way a cat or dog bite is way more powerful then this beautiful snake can do
wow dude, did your etb really die......cant remember who told me that but they said thats why you stopped making vdeos......very sorry to hear that man....but please come back to youtube we love your videos
Althought a very pretty set up it isnt the most efficient at keeping consistent humidity. With a screen lid and and a 40w bulb over top that tank will dry out within and hour or two. Misting everyday will help keep the humidity a little higher. You should look into PCV cages with heat panels. Will save you the headache of misting everyday and their way more durable than glass. Very good looking caninus though.
nice video and snake. I am wanting to get one of these and i really like your setup, Think you could tell me about how much the cage and snake alltogether cost. Also What type of cage is that? I would really appreciate if you could help me out. Thanks.
hey ondre it's been awhile. I'm just letting you know I'm actually getting an emerald soon. I have a coworker at the zoo I'm working at that is hooking me up with one of his new babies
I want to get one of these green boas.. they get about 7 feet or so according to wiki which would be a perfect size for me.. also, what is thier temperment like? are they docile or aggressive?
I have an excellent suggestion, with the pvc perch, paint on a thin coat of GE silicone II, and then cover it with dry coco fiber so you have a nice natural vine look.
Thats a Great idea with the pvc pipe but that Pvc Cement/glue is VERY TOXIC. It will actually burn your skin if you come in contact with it and also gives off Very Toxic fumes. Next time look into some non toxic glue, no need for pvc glue, thats overkill and for irrigation installation porposes etc... If you buy the correct size Pvc pipe you wont even need glue if your only using it as substrate Branches for Housing perc etc... Read the warning label on the Glue container, I use it all the time.
You are absolutely right, I actually never used it, for those reasons plus I never wanted the perch to be nonflexible...that's why I used the rugged camouflage duck tape. I need to put that in the ANNOTATIONs EDITOR!
you are awsome ive never actually seen anyone build a perch... u could sell those u know!! i really want an emerald just cant afford it rite now if u ever let urs mate ill buy 1 of the babies off ya
that is pretty much the most gorgeous emerald i've ever seen. I'm looking into getting one myself fairly soon. :] hopefully I can make a cage display as beautiful as yours. If you have any tips, please let me know!
What a beauty. I love the perch you made. What did you use to cover the pvc? It looks great. We have an amazon tree boa, and she likes to hang out on the little vines we have, but I think I might make a perch much like yours. Nice vid.
Man, you da man. Don't even listen to any fuckers messing with you. I'd love to kick it with you & your boa, I just got a green california banded kingsnake : ) not quite as exotic, but still beautiful. would you mind if i asked what you payed for her? i'd love to get one someday...
