Are fried pickles not popular anywhere else? And btw, Morello's pickles are not the best pickles in the world. My dad used to always buy them from Smuggler's and they were great, but I think Smuggler's is closed.
But yeah, try them from someone other than Morello's. There's aren't that crispy and they don't have a special sauce, they just use ranch.

Pluckers has the best fried pickles here in Austin tx. And Kats downtown are pretty sweet too.

I'm 2 hours north of Harrisburg myself and it always weirds me out when I hear people mention they don't have fireflies/lightning bugs.
Of course I'm sure it weirds all you guys out seeing Hardee's instead of Carl's Jr. Oh, and Illinois rules.
