Apple needs a Mid-Tower. The Mac mini is a loser product with the exception of the new mini server version which would fit nicely in the Xserve platform. Apple has lost a lot of ground in desktop publishing, because it's a lower profit margin industry than film or audio editing to begin with and gaming is a huge market that Apple has no foothold on.
