If you want to judge matty on his music and his talents.. Screw Idol.. Idol was like a Covers contest.. Matty is so much more than that.. Search on here for his own stuff.. 'my false', 'light home', 'made of stone', 'letters', 'the devils ploy', 'coloured stones and walls', 'breathe', 'winter is coming', 'tears from the sea'...... there are more.. but those are the first that spring to mind! I hate people who tell someone that they've ruined a song or that they're not good enough, because it's a fact that what they are doing means something huge to someone else. Everytime I hear Matt sing, I can feel his voice pulling at me. He is a true artist who is not afraid to take risks. Music should be about what the artist feels in the moment. If they simply make a replica of the original song, it wouldn't be them, it wouldn't be real, and it wouldn't be music.
