you might not have meant anything by your comment, but some people might find what you said as offensive. by questioning her ethnicity because she's pretty, you're basically saying "oh, you can't be black. you're too pretty to be black"....like black people can't be beautiful or "pretty". i know you were thinking nothing of it, but i'm just giving you a little heads up.
