  • Ok,,,that is a moviing truck ..you know furniture...DID IRWIN ALLEN...the Director and Producer of The Towering Inferno direct this sequence...Why is a moving truck exploding..Why is her Mercedes Benz...exploding..Back then..they were one of the safest cars...COME ON DALLAS...Oh yeah..this is the Ewing Bar-B-Q i have heard so much about...LAME SHIT

  • Wendell was the only one JR could never beat on a regular basis.

  • I miss tv music like that...

Now it's all hip hop and club music

  • una stronza di meno.

  • I have uploaded the first series of Dallas to Daily Motion.

Search for Dallas on Daily Motion or just visit my you-tube profile which has a link to our forum where I have embedded the episodes to our forum

    :)

  • Wendell looks like Senator Harry Reid, and just as evil and corrupt.

  • Holy crapezoid Pam's driving sucks. All she had to do was twitch her right heel and that Mercedes would've gone straight to plaid, outrunning the Jeep and clearing the intersection before the truck got there.

  • I am the driver of the truck that hit Pamela Ewing. I did not accept payment from JR Ewing at any time and I regret the fact that Victoria Principle was reduced to Info commercials since then....Sorry bout that.

  • @Tom6093 lol man she hit u!! she shouldnt have been on the phone!

  • could anyone tell which driver was at fault?

  • What's meesed up is that not only did this do away with Pam, but it also marked the end of Bobby's cool red Mercedes-Benz convertible with the "Ewing 4" tag. BTW, JR never looked more vicious as when he warned Wendell not to touch Jock's picture...He made me really believe he would KILL him where he stood.

  • Its time for two tasteless jokes

    1. Now that's what I call a Ewing barbecue!

    2. It looks like someone's not getting an invite to next year's Oil Baron's Ball!

  • This was not a bad thing. Does anyone actually remember Pam that last season? In almost every scene she was bitching: bitching at JR, bitching at Cliff, bitching about Jenna bitch bitch bitch! I was sick of her by the time this happened.

  • POWND!

  • Another example of women being horrible drivers

  • Windell looked like a ChoMo

  • I hated every time pam got pregnant they killed the baby what was up with that!

  • @theresaispretty

I know, It's like Roman Polanski was writing the scripts.

  • @drbayoms lol

  • @theresaispretty

Well this time she wasn´t preggie ;)

  • tALKING ON THE CELL PHONE!!

  • I always thought John Ross Jr. was gay at that age.

    Look at his face.

  • I don't get why people say the show was a flop after this or the dream season. The show started going down way before the dream season. Around 83-84 it stopped becoming a show that had originally focused more around family drama, and it became a show that mainly focused on the oil industry. By 84 the only original cast living at Southfork was Miss Ellie, Jr, Bobby and Sue Ellen. And this is just my opinion, but when Jock died the show was never quite the same again.

  • Barbequed? She should've been incinerated. What a cunt. I'm sure that Vickie Principal was just playing herself..........................As I said, What a CUNT.

  • @ahrensgay you got a potty mouth

  • Wendell was such an OLD QUEEN!

  • cell phones were only for the rich in those days, but what a warnng for the future, when everyone would have them....

  • Jrs best line ever to Wendell

  • That had to be the best line of the series, during the office scene!! "John Ross, This is Ewing Oil!!"

  • Stupid Pam, why was she honking so frantically for the Jeep to get out of her way? I would've chased her down too!

  • @apollo100 Because if someone is in front of you going below the speed limit & refuses to move out of the way, they're being an inconsiderate prick. (We don't know for sure that were going below the speed limit, but I encounter that situation all the time.) They should speed up or graciously move out of the way & quit impeding the flow.

  • Why didnt she Call BOBBY when this started OR pulled over to the side of the road........

  • Powerful smackdown by JR. Pam can kiss my ass, she deserved it.

  • dumb and dumber

  • John Ross? This is Ewing Oil!!!!!!!! Best Ever scene from Dallas

  • I never liked how Bobby and Christopher moped around so long after Pam's accident and then she left the hospital and didn't want to be found. Why didn't they just kill her off? At least then it wasn't like she abandoned them. This was one of the dumbest storylines the show ever did.

  • @jmsweat they should have killed her off--they kept hopiing Victoria would come back

  • @jmsweat They should have killed her off. Her acting was awful.

  • #I REASON you should not talk on a phone and drive at the same time!!!!

  • Pam gets Barbecued!!!! too funny

  • @swlaguy7 she always had bad luck with barbecues--she had a miscarriage at the first EWING BBQ LOL

  • Why was Pam driving Bobby's car in the first place? The only reasons I can think, is either her Porsche was being repaired, or the producers decided it was time that Bobby replaced his red convertible, after nine years.

  • @TheJaking87 porsche was being repaired

  • Comment removed

  • @TheJaking87 Pam was driving Bobby's Mercedes because that morning she told Bobby that the Porsche was making strange noises. Bobby told her he would have her car looked at and to take his car to run her errands.

  • @sexysagi I don't think Pam's 'Porsche' featured at all during this season anyway. However, it did make a final appearance at the start of the following season when Bobby had to drive it to the hospital. :)

  • Dallas truly died after this episode! They could never recover from VP's exit

  • @kdizzle79 What rubbish. This is laughable. Pam is so unbelievably overrated. I can never understand why some think Dallas ended here.

  • After this season (Dallas) was definitely over.

  • @Retrotv I agree with you.

  • DarlingNikki2, That was a good one. I was thinking about that too. C'mon, how much power can an old jeep have over a Benz? It does not make any sense at all!

  • @hav2see Exactly. Her Benz was designed for cruising at 130 mph on the German autobahn without the engine breaking down.

  • atmospheric elaboration on German expressionism. Find this movie free @ Movie Watcher [.] US

  • they had cell phones in the 80s?

  • Lol I love the name of that Title

  • What is up with Pam honking the horn and then not being able to just pass them? What does her Benz have a 1.0 liter engine or something? LOL!

  • "You touch that painting and I'll kill you where you stand!"

  • @nevaseenamancry Hell, JR's not bluffing either....

  • tja...bellen in de auto kost niet voor niks 150 eurootjes!!

  • I thought that scene when Jeremy Wendell was about to take Jock's portrait off the wall and J.R. said, "Touch that painting and I'll kill you where you stand." That was awesome, but when J.R. took the portrait off and showed it to John Ross and said "This is Ewing Oil.", that was the most epic of lines and beautiful scenes in any show on television ever.

  • HANG UP AND DRIVE!

  • Hmm... I think it would benefit her to try and turn the wheel to the left, rather than just cover her face with her hands. I feel very brilliant, pointing that out.

  • After that first incident, wouldn't Pam be driving even more cautiously than usual????

  • Let this be a safety lesson to all of you. Instead of taking both hands off the wheel and doing the classic arms and open hands up in front of your face defense...just put toaster-sized car phone up in front of you. That should be enough to brace anyone in a crash. It's too bad Ponch and John weren't Texas cops, 'cause they always got themselves and the victim just out of harms way right BEFORE the car exploded on CHiPS. They could've saved her, ya know. Think about it.

  • Barbecued...

    American humour :-)

  • God I loved this show. Those cliffhangers were great!

  • and that kids is why you should never use the phone whilst driving

  • yo se lo chupaba todo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I never liked Pam. She was very annoying. Her rabid fanboys always bash Jenna, who was far more sensible and more likable character.

  • So did she die ???

  • no she didn't die on the show.all she got burn up when she hit the tanker truck and had go to the hospital. and katherine was behind her disappears form the hospital to.

  • It's too bad they picked the best looking car on the show to stage this accident with. Why not Jenna's rusty-colored 6 series (preferably with Jenna and Charlie inside)? The show should have tried harder to keep Victoria Principal. I know she always said she wanted to leave the show at the time but money has a way of solving those problems (as it did a year earlier when Patrick Duffy came back to the show).

  • Totally agree, you get the feeling they were all set to recast a new actress as Pam,hence the burning but chickened out,yes Jenna got in my nerves too, first Bobby then Ray,preferred Donna.

  • I always found Pam annoying.

A more creative way to get rid of her would've been for J.R. to anonymously send her a bunch of vibrators in the mail.

She'd try them out, and her sex life with Bobby would fizzle.

The marriage would break up, Bobby would go off to "find himself" and J.R. would have Ewing Oil all to himself.

  • @MondoBeno pam is a bimbo

  • thanks for great video:)

    favorite part is at 1:59

  • Geez... if I were the writers I woulda done something a little bit different. I don't see how they could have brought Pam back even if Victoria Principal wanted to come back. LMAO have JR have this as a dream. "If you touch that painting I'll kill you where you stand." JR classic

  • good old jemery windell, lol sure DALLAS IS DUE BACK IN 2009....With new cast email me for details..

  • You can't replace the original. Jeremy Wendell should have been killed. Trust me they got rid of him.

  • I'm sure they did!!

  • actually it was an oil tanker pam went out in,watch as she ducks b4 crash,,,,

  • if linda gray(sue ellen) had not asked for pay rise victoria would not have left..thanks.

  • @dave34ni - why blame Linda Gray for VP's selfishness and self importance?

  • If Pam hadn't been so busy with the phone sex, then perhaps she wouldn't have crashed into the 18-wheeler.

  • I never noticed this before...why would there be a fuel tank on the TRAILER?

  • Too bad there isn't any soaps like this on TV today.

  • That part of the big rig has no fuel tanks, and I have never heard of a Mercedes Benz just blowing up like that, it had to be rigged by JR himself, he never liked Pam. I bet that is who did this. He told that Truck Driver to be there at that time. JR he is a bastard.

  • Comment removed

  • Proof postitive, that even Onstar could not have prevented such a tragic incident.

  • If Pam had a hands free cell phone she would have lived!!

  • She lived, just got burned so badly she felt she had to abandon her husband and child

  • If you think about it, it's unlikely that anyone could survive such an accident. But this is "Dallas", so normal thinking doesn't apply.

  • @hoosierlooker She did live, she just had some major burns and didn't want anyone to see her

  • JR is the hottest man on the planet... meow.

  • They say that after this Ewing Oil developed hands free cell phones. This should be shown to school children today as a warning not to use cell phones and stuff.

  • the guys in the jeep are assholes.

they almost caused pam to get in a crash.

but then she later dies. kinda ironic.

    <3

  • no she didn't die.She was badly injured and then she dissapeared mysteriously.Later another actress played Pam saying good bye to Cliff.Nobody knew really if she died. But it was really sad.Nothing was the same without her. This serie became bullshit like Dynasty at the end.

  • i know that. (:

but i just say she dies because

    she never plays her character again ;

and all we have is those good memories

    of her.

yea she did get badly burned from that

explosion, then she just disapeared caue

she was ashamed of the way she looked after that.

    <3

  • A legjobb szezonzáró!! Victoria Principal a legjobkor hagyta ott a Dallast, bár sajnáltam, hogy kilépett:-( Imádtam!!!

  • Yall know that Elvis and Larry Hagman must have had a deal. The only reason Prescilla was on the show was because Larry must have owed Elvis a favor at sometime and from the dead Elvis came back and said Larry you owe me. Prescilla Pressley was garbage.

  • J.R. did not play about his daddy!

  • great looking merc...i enjoyed every time when i see usa export mercs

  • April and Bobby were better for one another then Bobby was with Pam or Jenna. Pam was too tortured and Jenna was just the wrong stock. April was fresh, frisky and independent. Not codependent like the other two.

  • I dont agree Patrick Duffy only had chemistry with Victoria Principal no one else, hell Sheree Wilsons acting on Dallas was embarrassing though she did improve a little later on in Walker Texas Ranger.

  • Yeah, April was so independent and frisky that Susan Lucci's character killed her bitch ass!! April was too busy trying to be something that was. But I do agree that Pam was on the decline. Hell she was already made pathetic by the second season when she and Bobby spent the majority of the season arguing over whether or not to have a baby.

  • Pam drove too damn fast and would cry at the drop of a dime...lol! I liked Jenna better! I always thought that Bobby and Jenna should of been together...lol!

  • Pam was a god damn Barnes. A loser any strength she got was fake. I mean comeon how could her mother actually be a "Wentworth"

  • Too bad it wasn't Jenna in that car.

  • Damm, I love that, Wendell touch that painting, I'll kill you where you stand lol! WOOOO!!

  • My favorite J.R. scene is when he got shot. :D

  • Pam was a kickass bitch in the early season...alot of fans and press give V.P. a hard time for not doing a lot of reunions and being a huge bitch in interviews, but if they did that to me on screen(making Pam lame around season 6 and onward), I would be upset as well.

  • One of my favorite scenes. Pam was a real pill. An insufferable bitch!

  • roads need redoing

  • Poor Pamela

  • Dalla dies here.

  • @MsStephanieRogers What do you mean it dies here? It died the moment Pam talked about her dream! LMBO

  • @MsStephanieRogers WHY? Pam was overrated.

  • yup, cell phones in the 80's, & typicle broad not payin attention now she crashes!

  • your gonna pay for this Windell, if it takes the rest of my life, I'll get back at you!

  • cell phones in the 80's?

  • I think that's a car phone!

  • "Wendell! You touch that painting and i'll kill you where you stand." One of my favorite J.R. scenes

  • if u notice, the truck had completely stopped when the mercedes hit it. it was so staged. they could have done it better like her ramming into the back of a big rig while not paying attention to her driving cause shes on the phone. that would have been even better. then they could have had the dont talk and drive campaign back then. think of all the lives that could have been saved...lol. but seriously, the whole cast was great. when pam left, it wasnt the same anymore.

  • V.P. was the only one in the Dallas cast who did outside porjects during the 80's.A contract stipulation for everyone forbade it. Victoria adamently refused that option, she was very shrewd that way.And she did say she liked the way car crash as an exit vechile.Sometimes when a tv character is that much of a loving, family oriented person, the character would have to killed off or something else terrible, bec there is no way the character would voluntarily leave.

  • Victoria said in a very recent interview she let (the producers) know she was leaving as early as 1985, so they some notice, and began to slowly wash Pam out, knowing her leaving would alienate the few fans they had left after the dream season controversy.pam went from fiesty to passive The call times were usually 4:45 am , not wrapping till 9 or 10 pm, 6 or 7 days a week, 11 months out of the year-for 9 years! And she was asked back for the series finale, but did not choose to.

  • This was the end for Dallas. Never worked without Victoria Pricipal. This clip Twenty years old WOW. Thanks for posting

  • this is the number one reason I dont use my mobile (cellphone) while driving :lol (apart from the £60 on the spot fine that is!;-p)

  • And after that, Dallas SUCKED!

  • They should do one last reunion movie and have Bobby and Pam finally find each other again. It never was 100% confirmed that the character of Pam had died. And with all the plastic surgery that Victoria Principal has had, she would fit in perfectly with the character of Pam, because the character had lots of surgery on her face also from the explosion. IT WOULD WORK PERFECTLY!

  • Thanks brutal666 so I guess she's a bit more than 29 so!

  • By the way how old is Victoria Principal really, She was 29 when I was 12, 29 when I was 18 and is she still 29?

  • Victoria is 61

  • Well....Pam can always have another facelift!

  • I wanted to see Wendell get his a-- kicked!

  • J.R. doesn't take any crap.

Even though he onlly beats anybody

up once in the whole show, he always

    gets people who cross him.

I wish Jock hadn't bought it. He and

    J.R. were a great team.

  • Why is Pam so dense? Honking at the Jeep guys? Why don't you just quietly pass them? Then, as the van comes towards her, any autistic second grader could figure out that braking would result in the Jeep going on by, and she then could have changed back into her lane. Upon seeing the semi, she does what? Screams, and covers her eyes. What is she, an ostrich burying her head in the sand. Why don't you brake/swerve/anything useful in solving the problem?
  • I read somewhere that victoria thought they had already explored every area they thought they could do with Pam but I also heard she was tired and wanted to work on her buisness.

  • There's also another thing that said that she wanted Pam to become more human, claiming that Pam was too good. She she left, even though the network offered her a huge amount of money. If she had stayed she would have been the highest paid woman on television of the time.

  • Wow I didn't know that.I still feel that the show slowly declined after she left.Just my opinion I guess.

  • Why did victoria leave dallas she was doing so well

  • That's why you musn't use mobile phones while driving .... :(

  • the dream season revealed was a jump the shark, but this was the knockout punch!

  • Yeesh - remind me never to buy a Mercedes - they apparently cause huge explosions upon frontal impact. And Pam, try swerving or braking or something when you see an 18-wheeler in front of you - the old arm in the front of the face really isn't going to do much good in a situation like this.

  • more than anything else, victoria principal leaving destroyed dallas.

  • Agree, no other character leaving except Pam or JR would have affected Dallas as much

  • @charmedreturnz Oh please! What about Sue Ellen?

  • I was out of my armchair for this one! UIt was sooooooooo X sytin

  • "WENDELL! Touch that painting and I'll kill you where you stand!"

    BEST J.R. LINE EVER!!!

    -Joe R.

  • You got that right.
