1. Adam is not stupid for going down to the police station.
2. Just because he had a beer can in his hand doesnt prove he ever drank it. This isn't high school where you get suspended from the team for having alcohol. At 19 if i want to have a pic of myself holding a beer can i should be able to without any consequences.
@zooloo08 he is very stupid for going to the police station, he could not have been charged if he had refused and not said anything, if a cop ever asks you to come to the station to talk you are being interrogated no exceptions and you should not go unless legally required and if you are required go with a lawyer
realistically, yeah, underage people shouldn't drink (though age is arbitrary) and he shouldn't have put the pictures on facebook. but if we pay tax dollars for the police to protect us, then it doesn't make sense that police officers are paid to sit on facebook and find people who did stuff wrong and THEN charge them for it, after the fact, when clearly no harm was done. can they go online, find pictures of someone drinking when they weren't 21, and then charge them even if theyre 21 now?
