And it is okay to give up on HTC. I did, I love the Epic Touch. I didn't give up on HTC though, they gave up on Sprint. @stavros3006 plastic > 2 sided glass lol....no but seriously the SII feels real good in the hand and its not like everyone doesn't put a case on their phones anyways.....alot of HTC phones are made with plastic on the exterior....i do like some of their phones but wish they were thinner....i like that rubbery material(twss) mixed with that other stuff they do lol either company is great.....my #1 gripe with HTC is how they stick with Qualcomm CPUs thank god they're going to tegra 3

@Luger718A1 I completely agree about Qualcomm, I was more than ecstatic when I found out they're going for Tegra, but when it comes to build quality, please know that I do own a Galaxy S2 and a Desire HD, and I really love more the alu unibody feel and weight of the DHD. There is something about HTC devices that they are unique and damn sexy. Sammy's TouchWiz is an abomination and I do agree that the phone itself design wise is an iPhone look alike which also annoys me a loot!

@stavros3006 Plastic that is pretty flexible and almost unbreakable. Oh, and way lighter than aluminum or other mats. Watch some samsung galaxy s ii drop tests and check it, that thing is a tough bitch!

@RCpkAveiro Yes mate I am aware because I do own a Galaxy S2. I also have a Desire HD, and the GS2 is just incomparable with the DHD when I hold them in the hand. Sure, aluminium is way heavier but I personally prefer heavier phones. I got the GS2 as a present but it annoys me how Samsung try to move the design of their devices towards iPhone design, both external and UI, and TouchWiz just made me puke how ugly it is and luckily I'm running custom roms on it so that I don't have to look at it.

@stavros3006 idk i sorta like touchwiz 4.0 but Sense is also nice.as long as its not a memory hog and isnt impossible to navigate any UI will do for me.all phones these days have that same "its a rectangle with a screen" shape HTCs do have that roundish rubbery and other material (is it plastic?) on the back.my next phone might be the HTC Edge with tegra 3.dont get me wrong i dont hate thick phone, i dont wear skinny jeans, just not too thick like some HTCs that ive seen. :D
