@darkhood66, its for raid's and drug busts mostly. It confuses people upon entry and disorient's them. It can also be used to alert someone of any kind of trouble, and sometimes scare off threatening wildlife. I have the XL50, and it has high, low and strobe, and it works greatly.

I just bought one of these great little lights for my Beamlokr tactical flashlight mounting system. this is a fine light to have attached your weapon, made in the USA to. Love that.

Hi . i have used mag lites for years on the road. I just got an xl 100 as a gift. It worked for a few minutes. Try changing the function button. I sail alot and i would be nice if it would stay on without havin to keep your finger on the rubber button.Sorry Mr Mag lite. my xl 100 doesn´t do what it says on the box! sos etc are helpful it they work.

I love it! Today I get my XL100 and it´s so cool! But the worst case - the Duracell was empty (is it the right word?) Best greetings

Nice demo, but it would be nice to see throw demonstrated from the POV of the flashlight holder rather than just looking down the barrel. An outdoor throw demonstration would be doubly helpful.
