  • wow....thats awesome, ive never ever seen a lifted subaru! awesome!! but i bet the awd over 4wd is a pain to control. are their axles strong enough to handle the extra torque and did you have to do some modding to get it to work? i mean, in the suspension department? are there aftermarket parts to make this kind of build???

  • I've always wanted a 2 door GL, but not lifted. If I had the money I would probably convert to some AWD setup & make it a little city car. :-)

  • I have an 85 gl wagon 4x4 straight drive, its not lifted or anything but its a monster in the snow! me and my brother actualy plowed the driveway today haha, i bought it for 500$ its realllly worth it. only problem is the steering rack leaks on both ends so its pretty hard to turn but i love it. cheap car tons of fun haha

  • ha! i live near here :D

  • Subaru represent!!!

    93 Loyale 4X4 standard owner :)

  • you owe me a axel still

  • That's awesome. My first car was a red 88 GL hatch. only 2wd, though, not 4wd.

  • haha, the Belfair trails. Ive been wheelin there in my Subaru, its just got a 2" lift and the biggest set of tires u can clear with stock rims and without cutting the fenders. I rode in my mom's friends jeep in those trails too. Love um..I usually go quad riding across the road there, but do to that being a little bit apon the hella torn up part i just go wheelin with my friends now across the street in the trails. one time.lol..we came across a no access sign on a fence..on the wrong side.lol.

  • man i have a 1982 subi hatch and i was looking at doing this was it worth it?

  • TOTALLY worth it! Does surprisingly well offroad.

  • what did u us to lift it?

  • 2005 wrx

  • Dude, I fucking love Subarus. I will own my first one tomorrow: a beautiful blue 1984 GL wagon 4X4. First mod: high-profile studless snow tires and a 2" lift kit which sits in my garage as I type this.

  • monster trucks..and a subaru hatch. I stopped giggling a decade ago.

  • Damn that's a nice hatch.
