That's awesome! I live right on the Mississippi River in Missouri. Sounds like an awesome trip but (and I know you will) BE CAREFUL!! The Mississippi is really dangerous with all it's debris and insane whirlpools and currents--esp since all the flooding we've had this year!!!!! Can't wait for the vids.

Quick tip for you: along with the waterproof storage make sure to attach them to the canoe so that should you flip all of your stuff doesn't end up dry but at the bottom of the river. :P I've seen a lot of people have to go diving for their stuff lol.

Always love your travel videos! Do people do this canoe trip, all 2200+ miles often? I really don't know, but it seems like there must be some people who have done it and can advise from experience. That might be quite valuable. Seems like there must be falls and rapids some places, too. So my main question is have you talked to others who have actually done this in the past? @awreslr2 Yes, there have been people that have done it in the past. My brother reached to a couple of them for advice and they've been pretty helpful. It's not a very common trip. If you google "Canoe down the Mississippi" The first link I think is of a guy who writes about his entire experience. Check it out!
