  • Very good video!

    Fantastic!

  • @sashiko1996 I understand all you talked there

  • @tudorrupanu

so,please translate the sentence into English

  • @sashiko1996 Well I don`t exactly understand what you want to say..............

If you want to say Japanese bullet train is much faster than French TGV,I can tell you that`s because that TGV train was running at a conventional line but a high speed line!

  • @diema179

    Do you undersatand?

  • @sekailover

  • omg double train all the way!

  • THIS TRAINS SO DAMN SLOW, LOOK UP THE SHINKANSEN

  • @ICONTROLCARS both are capable of the same speed, however in France the TGV will use the older low speed infrastructure to reach destinations that are not on the high speed line. This one will join the high speed line at Tours (?) and will then run to Paris at 300km/h (the same speed as the Shinkansen. The Shinkansen is not compatible with the standard Japanese network so only operates on the High Speed tracks, passengers for other destinations have to change

  • @ICONTROLCARS It's on a classic (180 km/h) rail and it's approching a station. If it where on it's high speed line it would be travelling at 320 km/h witch is faster than the shinkansen's 300 km/h.

  • @UraeusAnkhAmon but the new shinkansen e3 series goes 320 on operation every day

  • @ICONTROLCARS yeah, but it's still not slow.

  • @ICONTROLCARS nor slower.

  • @ICONTROLCARS By the way are you sure that it goes at 320 km/h?

  • @UraeusAnkhAmon yes i am sure you can check on wikipedia

  • @ICONTROLCARS Thats what I did

  • @ICONTROLCARS Thats what I did and I found that it's 275 km/h

  • @UraeusAnkhAmon no thats the old E3 the new one was released in 2011 and it goes 320 and the 500 series goes 300kmph

  • @ICONTROLCARS Thats still not faster!

  • @UraeusAnkhAmon yea but its the equal speed and it looks better comon

  • @ICONTROLCARS I can say that the E3 looks better than the single-deck TGV, but not the double-deck (TGV DUPLEX)

  • @UraeusAnkhAmon na, but look a the 500 series its looks better than any TGV

  • @ICONTROLCARS The 500 series looks like a sausage cut at a 30 degree angle and painted grey.

  • loooooooooooooooong Train.

    Like the ICE in double

  • Something we need bad,but a little to late. Cost to much to build. Would create jobs for americans. A great train for a great country is what we need. AMTREK is a loser.

Plenty of land to build, and drill for oil. Let's get on board.

  • @Psyche777able USA is not a great country!!!

  • evan i can run faster that shit

  • polish trains are the best

  • @Adamos45 WTF

  • I love that train

  • was that two trains linked together?

  • @mel2k10rus Yeah, it's pretty obvious!

  • That is one long passenger train!

  • I've seen the TGV :D I was on a school trip in France, we were travelling about 60MP/H and it went past us sooo fast, it was like, there and gone in 5 seconds :P

  • 'train grande vitesse' (TGV)

Literal translation into English is 'very fast train' in France they do go like 40 bastards! When you go on the channel tunnel as soon as you get to the French side the speed is phenominal

  • Unbeleivable! Longest TGV trains is made up too!

  • W ETR500

  • Why cant America get off its ass and come up with our own inoovations like the TGV? Are we just that addicted to our vehicles and paying BP type big wigs salaries?

  • @austin77joe What is paid ti Bp is small compred to what that would cost in the US.

  • @austin77joe The USA is more suited for Air Travel. Only in the intercity areas would a Rail System like TGV really work in America. Let's face it, the United States is nearly 15 times the size of France, the cost to criss cross the US with dedicated highspeed track would be unGodly. And Europe has always been more of a pedestrian/rail friendly place. Not so much in America, out side of moving freight our rail network isn't really suitable.

  • Saying that Europe has ALWAYS BEEN more rail friendly and that our CURRENT rail network is not suitable is not a good basis for downplaying the benefits of high speed rail in the US. Other countries actually invested in train infrastructure. You have to first BUILD something to make it user friendly and attract people to it. Instead, the US throws trillions at the military industrial complex which only contributes to a furthering global empire at the detriment of the country to which it belongs.

  • @Konman91316 Well the US is more into national security than France, both tend to share differing views on that don't they? But a Rail Network like that couldn't work for the entire size of the US. Only in certain areas like California, The Northeast Corridor...etc. The country is too vast...but I think we're finally taking a step in the right direction :)

  • @phillyslasher High-speed rail tends to work best in urban areas. I've got a report that lists 25 potential U.S. city pairs for high-speed rail lines. The best scenario is two metropolitan areas at the ends of the line with urban areas served in between. Sounds like SF Bay Area to LA and Northeast. I know that people argue that the U.S. is big, but size of a country is not a factor for high-speed rail. Population density of areas being served by HSR, not pop. density of country, is a factor.

  • @phillyslasher Also, the U.S. use to have one of the greatest national railroad networks in the world. Take a look at a picture of the former Pennsylvania Railroad at its peak and you'll see how extensive it was, and this was just one corner of the country! But, thanks to the Interstates and overwhelming government support of roads, highways, and construction of airports, private railroad companies couldn't compete. California came close to getting Japan's Shinkansen in the 1980's, but...

  • @phillyslasher it never passed. Thanks Reagan! Anyway, we now finally have a government that is supportive of expanding the passenger rail network once again. American passenger trains may make a comeback!

  • @th3gtr Interesting. I'm on board with a comparable rail system to that of Europe or Japan. I also support the airlines as well though. I think the US could marry the two, if that's even possible. You make a good point about linking urban areas to other urban areas. In a way, LA and San Diego with the Amtrak Surfliner, has done just that but that's a low-speed commuter. And yeah, it's sad to see what passenger rail has been reduced to here in the US.

  • @phillyslasher Airlines and rail working together is possible. I know Japan's railroad companies work with airlines to create service packages for tourists. That would be interesting to see in the U.S.

I'm surprised to see that TGV is much longer than Shinkansen in Japan.

  • Fantastiqe!

    Cést ma video préférée!

  • do you know how hard it is to catch a video of a tgv?!? it takes hours to get one at full speed

  • 5+ movie

  • very nicely captured

  • 160Km/h?

  • cool

  • only when people run/drive infront of them.

  • ciuff ciuff

  • bewdie

  • C'est effrayant .... Imaginez recevoir écrasé par cette ........ Ouch

  • What a beautiful train and smooth as silk. Wish we had these here instead of tanks & Guns and military equipment

  • terrible grammar.get educated.

  • No. You are wrong.

Design and sound are not realy important for a train. More important is the technique behind (or, better said: under).

The ICEs development started in the eighties of the last centrury with the ICE1. This was released in 1991 (1991-05-29). The ICE3 is derived from this model. There are only few changes in the design at all.

This is one of the reasons why the Deutsche Bahn had to hold all cars in the repair shops to check the axes.

The TGV is still in development.

  • @sotel1

under development ? TGV has been around for decades.

  • precioso

  • Oh great French technology.
