You should read the Jonah story again though to really find out why he was running away (He wasn't running away from his pain, he was running away because he knew God would save the Ninevites if he spoke to them and Jonah didn't think they deserved God's compassion...he still doesn't learn his lesson at the end when he still cares more about the dying plant than he does about the people of Nineveh). Good song, just needs some better theology.
