  • To all you " environmentalists " out there . Tell me , what is the answer . Give me one because I need one . I work in the home health field of medicine and take care of adults that wear diapers . I reuse those "evil" bags to throw them away . So, am I supposed to pas the bill to people that can barely afford my services , pay for bags myself and charge the bill to you "tax payers " (trust me I will write it off as an expense for work) or expose all of you to hazardous waste .

  • Project GreenBag is the sustainable, eco-friendly alternative to plastic bags. 100% organic cotton, biodegradable, and made in San Francisco California.

  • ROFL an asian guy named Ed Jew HAHAHAHAHAHHAHA LOLOL OMFG SO FUNNY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111111111111

  • It has nothing to do wth hippies, trash or dog shit....they're too small for any real trash anyway, unless you take your trash out every single day and just get a pooper scooper. Ikea has the right idea about how to get the message across, people take too much for granted...would it really be that much of an inconvenience to bring your cloth bags from home?

Its ridiculous how wasteful those bags are!

  • @LlikeLaura

I BUY 300-350 WORTH OF GROCERIES @ ONE TIME AND

NOOOO I DON'T CARRY THAT MANY BAGS TO THE STORE

    AND I WON'T. GREAT TIP YOUNG'UN !

  • Young'un?? What makes u think I am younger than you? It may be, but apparently more educated.

Thats the point of reusable bags u can carry many groceries in less bags, for 300+ groceries worth u need a shitload of plastic bags, and lemme guess, double bagged for the heavy stuff. People in europe have done it forver.. God forbid we make americans "think" before going to the store of their bags.

  • I like plastic bags. I still use the plastic bags to dispose kitchen garbage and they don't break.

Plastic bags still rules the world.

  • Thanks San Fran

Now come and pick up my neighbors dog shit.

Oh wait you have no bags to do it.

    Hippies dont get it.

  • what about technology and clothes stores there isn't even a need for plastic bags in clothing stores and stores for electronically items

  • I love San Francisco, it's the most beautiful city in the world. But this video epitomizes why I HATE THE PEOPLE living there. They're so much more "sophisticated" than all of us apparently, no plastic bags blah blah blah.

  • why? Don't you think it's a great idea? What the hell man...

  • Did they hire Troy McLure for narration?

  • damn i could sure use the 12 million barrels of petroleum for my gas tank. jeez, what a waste... and then again, ill still pollute the earth by producing monoxide from my cars exhaust.... i think its a good idea to ban the plastic bags

  • Plastic bags produced in the USA aren't made using oil, they're made from ethane which is a byproduct of NATURAL GAS. Don't believe everything your "politicians" preach we all know most of them are clueless and become minions of the whacko environmentalists.

  • hey, MsCynth what is this talk of "supervisor jew"?

what i dont get is why there is some debate as to whether or not banning bags is a good idea. its a nice step in the right direction.

now, people need to be bringing those bags back to the store for re-use, what ever the material. it would be nice if the media would emphasize that point more.

  • No it is not stupid. It is stupid to use all that energy and pollution to create bags, just you can carry your groceries home, after which these bags go to the garbage dump.

Virtually no recycling programs accept these bags either. You could throw them in the blue bin, but all that happens is that they get thrown out anyway then at the recycling plant.

  • @a1mint GET THE HELL OUT OF THE U.S AND GO LIVE IN A COMMUNIST COUNTRY YOU FUCKFACE LIBERAL THUGS. YOU ALL WILL BE FOUGHT GUARANTEED. YOU ARE ALL BRAINLESS SICKOS!

  • @ohm300mk2 GO FUCKING DIE IN A CORNER YOU FUCKING STUPID PATHETIC LITTLE SNOT ! GO FUCK YO MAMA U MUTHAFUCKA !

  • "Dinosaurs and relics"? Why the name calling? I also

believe Supervisor Jew has a point about the possibility of it being a regressive tax. Assisi, Italy also

has a similar program already up and running.
