Ain't NUTHIN like the real thing!!! 3 masters jammin in the kitchen...no effects gadgets, electronic trickery, post-mix sweetening or any other of todays BS. Just 3 brothers in arms doin thier thang. RIP Honeyboy, Walter and Johnny! Your legacy lives on in the blues!
Does anyone know anything about Walter's life apart from his music? I was thinking about my harmonica hero and realised I don't know if he had any relationships with anybody. There's that song.. 'Christine' on the Carey Bell album. I find biographies but they're just lists of musicians he played with and albums he cut.
@Horwellston big walter horton right there playing the harmonica player was the harmonica player in "the blues brothers" in the scene with john lee hooker out on the street...interesting tidbit
