I had one problem wen following your steps. When I clicked properties then the advanced tab then checked both boxes...an error popped up saying: An error occurred while Internet Connecion Sharing was being enabled.

A lan connection is already configured with the IP address that is required for automatic IP addressing

@Jkid0041 click on the general tab... then double click internet protocal (TCP/IP) and make sure they are both on automatic if not put them on auto matic and go back to share if it is on auto matic i have no idea how to help i hope this helps!!

so you don't need pc for xbox360 lan to lan to wireless router just hook it in number 1 slot or any slot from 1-4. so i did that way so i dont use pc all time.but wirless good for hotel hotspots or any hotspots that only you use pc way..

you can also you can hook lan from xbox 360 to your wireless router by hooking up lan cables you get good speed out it.but wirless way is good for hotspots and 3G would be good with this..

for some people connecting via the laptop will have better connection, but for others the wireless adaptor will be better

so if you do this and the connection is still a bit dodgy, go and buy the wireless adaptor, and if it is still bad you can return the adaptor and get your money back

no point in running it through your laptop I used to do it and it just runs extremely slow and can properly fuck up you're router especially if other people are connected at the same time, just buy the wireless reciever and save yourself the hassle

it'll work I also have a USB aircard...just enable Internet Connection SHaring and you should be good 2 go.
