the traditional style is called muay boran lethwei is from burma. the cambodians have a very similar sport called Pradal sery and its ancient for is called khmer boxing. and the japanese have something like this and its called... kickboxing XD

You should go to Thailand and see one of these fights. My buddy and I were there and the only tourists around. We were surrounded by literally hundreds of Thais - the yelling is all done by Thai people betting on the fights. Not fake.
