Snakes kill their owners because their owners are idiots....If you have a 16 foot snake, don't handle it alone and don't put it around your neck. Snakes grab onto things thinking they're trees, aka your neck. It will kill by accident. I have a Dumerils boa, Red Tailed boa and Ball Python and none of them has even struck at me. Snakes are awesome ^^

i have heard this story way to manny times by too many ppl. a boa would never beable to eat a person. i do not think snakes measure food that way. most likey it was absorbing her body heat. IF this is even a true story...heard it at least 30 times by 30 different ppl. ne ways a boa wouldnt even try to eat a person no reason to. adults r simply too large...i dont even think a python would bother trying to eat a person uless it was bigger then what i normally see in captivity.

Yah, snakes generally need to be at least 20 feet with substantial girth to even be capable of eating a small adult. And even then it is almost impossible for one to try to kill a human, much less suceed. A non-venomous snake killing a person is EXTREMLY rare. It rarely ever happens; almost completly unheard of. And nearly every time it DOES happen, which is close to never, they do not actually eat the person, as it is very difficult for their mouths to make it past the shoulders.

... That is very very very (Im talkin extremely) rare. And the normal size for a constrictor is what you see in the video and is harmless to a human unless it truly wants you dead it will go around your throat but the species of snake naturally isn't as intellgent to know that so its fune.

Trust me, all those stories are just rumours. A snake eating a person is SOOOO rare that it's almost completly unheard of. And most snakes found in captivity are extremly docile, especially boa constrictors which would NEVER EVER reach a size capable of eating humans. So few people are killed by large constrictors that it is not even worth mentioning as something to watch out for (although they are capable of injuring a careless owner if provoked).

in one year they get about 5-6 foot, then in 4 years they are almost fully size but i would say about 5 years. ps i depends on how much you feed them and what cage you keep them in, for example if you put them in a small cage they will not grow much, but if you put them in a big cage they will shot up in size very very quick. sometimes the size depends on how you feed them, cage wise. and also the females are bigger then the males, but i think the female are less aggressive then the males.

No, trust me, a 6ft boa would definatly not be capable of overpowering and killing an adult human. No boa would EVER be able to EAT a human. Killing, maybe, but EXTREMELY unlikely. There hasn't been any proven case of a boa constrictor actually killing a person. A very large specimen might have enough power to kill a person, but it has never happened before, or at least never been reported.
