Is that better?

Fourth, the last time there was a major oil spill in the Gulf (Ixtoc I), Pemex paid $100 million to clean it up, versus who knows, $20 billion, or more, with BP. But you can't sue Pemex because they are owned by Mexico. So --- no more drilling in the Gulf because of the spill? But Cuba, China, Mexico, Venezuela, and Brazil are going in full blast. Is that better?

My personal opinion is that most Black Americans are pretty well satisfied with their recent prosperity. The Progressive Politicians opened those doors that were otherwise closed to them but it was the Black Community who fought to get to that point & past it. Even with U/E still effecting the Black Community more then the White Community you rarely see any open disatisfaction from the B community in a long time now. I think they feel well absorbed in the M/C class & generaly happy with things.

One reason that many Americans of African descent arent involved in politics is because they have been marginalized by People that want to redeem their white guilt by offering poor folks social services,i.e. money. Back in the days of "Jim Crow" laws, Black Americans fought back by starting businesses and becoming successfull.

People become racist when a lot of people from another race do something wrong to the person. So after the rapings, lynchings, and abuse that blacks received during slavery in the united states. Not to mention the all the natives of america which got nearly wiped out.. I would understand why people would still be racist. The effect of those times lead to a bad future for all those who got violated during those times and their future generations. Mistakes like that take a long time to fix.
