I was actually there and as an American, am relatively unbiased as I dont care, but was just visiting Nagano. In actuality every assault leading to an arrest was either by Japanese right wing, or Taiwanese protestors for "tibet". In actuality they were just protesting because they hate the Chinese. I still believe Tibet should remain a part of mainland China for the economical reason, although there are a lot of human right issues and the party should promote socio-economic status of Tibetans. However, all the Chinese should confront the security concerns in the games. This video is indicating lynches against foreign tourists at Beijing Olympic.
