Even though I do not attend ECU (don't get me wrong I got love for the Purple and Gold), but that was so disrespectful how the police in Greenville were treating those fans...That was so whack...If I were one of the cops I would not have done anything, just let the students have fun, and that's what they were there for.

As a Pirate fan, I hate that all of this attention on the students being excited about a HUGE win and the cops using excessive force has overshadowed the incredible game that ECU played. Unfortunately, what should go in the history books is Patrick Pinckney being named All-American of the week, Skip Holtz being able to turn this program around, and numerous other student athletes achievements. However, the only thing that will be remembered is the ridiculousness of a select few.

Nice going po lice! Just frustrated cus they can't stop the crowd, so they take out their anger on a few students. Messed up. Let it go. Those students are not hurting anybody. They are celebrating. Damn.

Too bad those cops don't treat criminals that prey on students like that-we would have a lot less crime! It's traditional to rush the field and tear down the goal posts. Not exactly what we call crowd control...What's the deal guys?

This is just sick to watch. ECU trying to get on the national map with a huge upset over a top 10 team and a cop does that. He must have went to a community college where he didnt have a team to root for so he took it out on the student.

I wasnt at the game nor a fan of either ECU or UWV but I did watch and loved the game. I watched the game on TV and noticed after the crowd rushed the field (from a different camera view than this),in lower right corner of screen, at about 30 secs from going off the air, a cop on top of someone, throwing punches, smashing some guys head in like he was a UFC champ. I cant find this video on YouTube yet but if anyone recorded the nationally televised version, it will be there!
