it was strange to hear this old tune being given this treatment. it originated in a marlene dietrich movie, where she played a gypsy, hence the 'earrings' reference. peggy lee recorded it ( i have often wondered if peggy actually wrote this ) and delivered it her her own intimate style. and now this one. i really liked it. thank you.
