It's kind of weird that LG would use a song so blatantly about someone's drug problem in a commercial for their new phone. I'm glad they did though, so that I could discover this amazing song and artist.

@KillerInstinct2006 . I read an interview w/Laura Veirs, the song is about relationships and endings, doesn't mention drug problem. She uses imagery from nature. Of course it can be interpreted any way you want.

@tiggger1213 Yeah the song is about relationships and the pain and hardship one deals with, because of another's drug problem. This song is 100% obviously about one's drug addiction. It would be impossible for all of the references to be coincidental.

"I can smell the smoke" another blatantly obvious drug reference. Probably referring to smoking crack or meth.

The whole song is about how someone's drug problem effects the narrator of the song and how she prays that, that person will get better.
