Lol it's funny that I've recieved so much positive feedback about my tone because all I'm using is a cheap lil' crate v18. I think it's more so the guitar than anything.
I've been told that a few times before but it's not really something I do intentionally. Theres a pulse in everything. I just try to latch onto it. Hope that helps.
whether or not you know it you always play in the "groove" or "pocket" I would love to be able to play like that, my fingers are still getting in my way. A lot of soul, in your grooves. I will be studying this one for the next few weeks lol peace
