And though hunting from helicopters is distasteful if done purely for sport, I can understand and appreciate the efficiency for eradication be it public or private. Good luck and good shooting.

I thought about ground birds last time I was reading up on locusts, there is a lot to be said for looking after them and killing what ever kills them off. Bustards and Plain Wanderers keep locusts down (a bit), but they are few and far between now. We may have to let chooks roam wild to control thingslike that.

This is the greatest video ever. In Cal. they are taking over and destroying everything. Horses and cattle break legs because of the pigs destruction to the terrain. So how does the state respond? They made them a game animal and charge $20 per tag, no shooting at night and you can only field dress the animal until you are home.
