I lost my brother in a car crash two days ago... I miss him soooo much there was a lot I was saying to him when he died!! This Christmas will not be the same without my wonderful mother, Edith, who passed away on Nov. 30, 2011. She was diagnosed with lymphoma in the spring of 2008 and our family almost lost her. However, at 87, she was game to try chemotherapy, which gave all of us her special presence for 2 1/2 more years. We all hoped she would have one more Christmas with us - her favorite time of year. I know there is Christmas in Heaven. It couldn't be any other way, Mom!

This is our 11 Christmas without my brother and 3rd Christmas without my dad. My brother died Dec 14, 2000 and my dad died Dec 6 2008. They were both very devout and strong Christians as are my mom , brother and I. They are missed very much but I know they are having another wonderful Christmas in Heaven full of Joy and Peace. They are there with my paternal and maternal grandparents, aunts , uncles and cousins. The youngest of which went home to be with Jesus last year at only 3 months old.

My mother suffered a heart attack on 11/21/2011 and was recovering in a rehab center. On the night of 12/20 we had a great visit. She was happy and had had a very good day. She passed away at 7:30 the next morning. Her death was unexpected, given the steady progress she had been making. I have lived with her all of my 53 years and am devastated. She was not only my mother, but also my biggest supporter, my best friend, my source of wisdom and advice. Feliz navidad, mamita.

We cannot continue this book of life if we choose to reread the chapters that only brought us joy....we have to be willing to let those chapters go in order to move on to the ones ahead. I lost one of my best friends this Christmas to cancer. We laid her to rest on the 16th. Every time I hear this song it reminds me of the loss of a very special friend. It makes me cry tears for her daughter left behind. A daughter dedicated to her sick mother. Caring for her to the end was hard, and having to bury her at Christmas harder.

This Christmas will not be the same without my wonderful mother, Edith, who passed away on Nov. 30, 2011. She was diagnosed with lymphoma in the spring of 2008 and our family almost lost her. However, at 87, she was game to try chemotherapy, which gave all of us her special presence for 2 1/2 more years. We all hoped she would have one more Christmas with us - her favorite time of year. I know there is Christmas in Heaven. It couldn't be any other way, Mom!

This is our 11 Christmas without my brother and 3rd Christmas without my dad. My brother died Dec 14, 2000 and my dad died Dec 6 2008. They were both very devout and strong Christians as are my mom , brother and I. They are missed very much but I know they are having another wonderful Christmas in Heaven full of Joy and Peace. They are there with my paternal and maternal grandparents, aunts , uncles and cousins. The youngest of which went home to be with Jesus last year at only 3 months old.

My mother suffered a heart attack on 11/21/2011 and was recovering in a rehab center. On the night of 12/20 we had a great visit. She was happy and had had a very good day. She passed away at 7:30 the next morning. Her death was unexpected, given the steady progress she had been making. I have lived with her all of my 53 years and am devastated. She was not only my mother, but also my biggest supporter, my best friend, my source of wisdom and advice. Feliz navidad, mamita.

Two months ago, on Oct. 16th our town lost four beloved children... They rolled their car into the creek, and we didn't find them till that sunday morning..

When I heard this on the radio the other day I couldn't stop crying. My sister passed away three years ago on christmas day due to complications to open heart surgery. She was only 16 and we would loved christmas so much with the snow everywhere and the lights always shining. I hope that she still loves christmas because I still do, it reminds me of her and her smile. I love you Erin

Suicide rates go up during this time, breakins, robberies, depression , anxiety. Many go into debt because they dont want to disapoint all the ever so greatfull reciever. Our Heavenly father did not place the date that Jesus the Christ was born in the bible. The bible is Gods word. however we are conditioned to celebrate it on Dec. 25. There are no birthaday celebrations in the bible for Jesus or any of his diciples or Moses or any of gods chosen people. only pagans and egyptians kept track of this for astrological and horoscope purposes. However it actually takes some common sense to realize that when people are honoring the incarnation of Christ that they are not practicing a pagan religion. This is truly a beautiful song, and so appropriate for everyone who has lost a loved one. Can't help but wonder what Heaven is like with my oldest son there now. What a wonderful promise from God that all we have to do is accept him and we'll find out what Christmas In Heaven is like. I am accompanying a vocalist in our church on my guitar for our Christmas contata. I've played this song a hundred times and never get tired of the words...they still bring tears to my eyes. Mom, my sister Janie, my Dad....they all know what it's like and many times I yearn to be with them. Make sure YOU take Jesus as Savior and one day you'll know what it's like!!
