Sandman is Bald Bull's sprite clone, which really gives me a better feeling of intimidation (Ya know, with the sound he makes if he wins in the match in the NES version, and his god damn TD fight).

He was never Mike Tyson. When you beat Mr.Sandman you got a code to fight Mike Tyson. But Nintendo decided tp drop him fron the game when he went to jail.

They even went as far as to change the box the game came in. Maybe they thought that by changing the box completely, they would trick people into thinking it was a whole new Punch Out and by doing so, they would make back their money that they had spent on placing Mr. Dream into the game.. All that production and they even made new boxes showing a white boxer landing a punch on a black boxer while the ref watches. We're talkin millions of games here. And by that time, who didn't have the original Mike Tysons Punchout? It had been out for nearly 3-4 years prior to the rerelease of Punch Out with Mr. Dream!
