Sat. July 30, 2005. The band was billed as DKT/MC5 for the 3 surviving members (Davis, Kramer, Thompson) and a revolving cast of singers and players (Gilby Clark, Marshal Crenshaw, many others), celebrating the music of the MC5. They did an extensive US/world tour in 04-05, and a few more dates in 06-08.

The night before this show, at a club in Brooklyn, they did a performance of the complete KOTJs LP song for song, then another hour long set .

Great Raw Rock , MC5 was the Weather Under Ground Rock Band , Torch paced to Green Peace, saw MC5 with opening act Iggy Stooge and the Stooges , about 69 , Now Iggy Pop , killer concert at Place Of Our Own , Houston . Saw them again in Ann Arbor and a few other times , never once did they let us down . This cut of , please fix it , sounds like MC5 top me .

I was lucky enough to be at this show. Absolutely freakin' incredible. And the remaining members did it very wisely: rather than try to cash in on rehash, they call themselves a different name, DKT. And, knowing full well that no one person could ever replace Sonic Smith or Rob Tyner, they brought in a series of guest vocalists, all of whom are huge 'Five fans. If that's not a true testimonial to Tyner, I don't know what is.

By the way, Lisa from the Bellrays is the SHIT.

Sure. Mark Arm is amazing. I was not familiar with him till I saw him with DKT/MC5 (6 times) including this show. The night before, they played at NorthSix and performed the complete Kick Out the Jams LP then did another set. Even had a horn section. They were ON FIRE!

Well, it's in fact the MC3 + 4,drummer Dennis Thompson, guitarplayer Wayne Kramer (on the left) and Michael Davis on bass.

Unfortunatly the two other original members, Fred "sonic" Smith (gtr) and Rob Tyner (voc) died.

The singer in blue is "handsome dick" manitoba from "the dictators" (mid 70's punkband), the female singer (in white) is Lisa Kekaula from a rock 'n' soul group called "the Bellrays".

The other guys on stage, well, I don't know.

So, hope I was some sort help....
