Personally, my favorite songs of hers are all off of the Instant Star soundtracks and I truly love the re-release of “Skin” and “I Just Wanted Your Love”. As I said in the beginning, I love her music all inclusive, but feel she would prefer honesty when being told my feelings as a music purchasing customer. She had a successful recipe with the writing, and marketing geniuses behind Epitome, and their label. Refind that successful blend. We want you around for a long time and to hear these songs

.......Look at the marketing behind Drake’s (little Jimmy) singing (talking). I mean I personally do not like rap but he is selling units and touring. Alexz would not have to seek pledges to perform live if she were selling large numbers of units. All that creative talent could potentially go to waste if it is not managed, marketed, and sold to the music buying population. Please think, we are the music buying public, where do we want to spend our money? This is bigger than our feelings.....

.....by not properly promoting her and marketing a sellable product to/for the masses. Whereas I do in fact love her solo musical style, I do not wish for her to become a flash in the pan. She has to compete with the Lady Gaga’s, the Britney’s the Adele’s the Christina’s, the Selena Gomez’s. Please make songs that will target that market, and use personal stylings as the album filler till the mass popularity is gained.

.....She must do this. Her “Instant Star” sound made her, and sold units, brought her to us, and her best songs from a sellable perspective are those and any that would sound like the same. Radio play and popularity sells units, and mass units sold sell out auditoriums and stadiums, not pledges. I find it discouraging that the other artists that contributed to the Instant Star songs have released albums of consequence, such as Lights. Alexz’s management company is doing her a disservice.....

I would like to start off by first stating that I am indeed a long term fan of Alexz’s music. I do in fact own multiple copies of PURCHASED CDs of all of her music releases. I like this new song as I do all her music. That being said, I feel it crucial to provide constructive feedback of her new album effort and concert tour plans. As an artist, her skillset is heads and shoulders above the competition, but she is not releasing music designed to target the top 20 pop radio play market....
