I think Arundhati roys speech was conceding to her right to express and she cannot be charged with sedition which is a outmoded way of keeping people silent against government. And the law sedition of itself is against the spirit of democracy..
And that is what we Indian are saying as we have also the freedom of expression that Kashmir is a integral part of India. If Kashmiri people can die to separate Kashmir then Indian will die to keep it intact with India.
Arundhati Roy has a fundamental right to express her opinions on Kashmir. In a democracy whether we like it or not, we need to respect the will of people. The people of Kashmir have right of self determination. We oppose Indian military occupation in Kashmir and indiscriminate killing of Kashmir youth by Indian security forces.
