I'm not understandin this... metal is a genre with vast numbers of sub-genres... ur showing power metal, death metal, classic metal, black metal, etc. as "true metal". the "false bands" also fall under these sub-genres... the broadest being metalcore. of course there is also deathcore, new grindcore etc. I guess you mean to say "false metal" as fusion genres?... incorporating usually hardcore elements. Though, metal such as folk metal is a fusion genre incorporating metal with of course folk.

BTW in Iron Maiden's concert which was in Monterrey NL Mexico, February 26, this year. Atreyu was on stage (a mistake from the sponsor) and the bass player got hitted in the head with a bottle, so he was bleeding and playing xDDD that's how we in Mexico respond to false metal.

that documentary was pretty good but it was also biased in some ways, especially that list he made. some bands who are not Thrash Metal, were in the Thrash Metal section. i was pretty disappointed but oh well, he did a great job with that documentary.

There are other sub-genres of metal and alot of metalcore bands are classed as the new wave of american metal, which of course doesnt indedicate false metal at all. You forgot some good/very crucial false metal bands too, maybe put them in volume 10? - Unearth, Parkway Drive & All That Remains

to continue on with the Faceless stuff, i really like their new album, much more than their first album. in my opinion, it is much better than their first album.

I agree with you, but those bands aren't really false metal. They're mostly metalcore/deathcore/mathcore. Which is not metal. I'm not understandin this... metal is a genre with vast numbers of sub-genres... ur showing power metal, death metal, classic metal, black metal, etc. as "true metal". the "false bands" also fall under these sub-genres... the broadest being metalcore. of course there is also deathcore, new grindcore etc. I guess you mean to say "false metal" as fusion genres?... incorporating usually hardcore elements. Though, metal such as folk metal is a fusion genre incorporating metal with of course folk.

that documentary was pretty good but it was also biased in some ways, especially that list he made. some bands who are not Thrash Metal, were in the Thrash Metal section. i was pretty disappointed but oh well, he did a great job with that documentary.

yes they are thrash metal...concerning vulnus and spitfire:the first ones are death metal and the second ones are heavy metal that were formed in 80's...though it will be difficult to find tracks from spitfire...good luck in searching !!!!:D

I agree with you, but those bands aren't really false metal. They're mostly metalcore/deathcore/mathcore. Which is not metal. It doesn't claim to be metal, therefore it is not false metal, it's not metal at all. If it were metal, how could it be false? It can't be metal and not metal at the same time. You're taking the wrong approach here.
