  • can anyone scuba dive at the Quarry?

  • @heathermarie011885 As long as you are certified and have all your own gear....there are no rentals there of any kind. You pay to enter the park just like anyone else.

  • Anyone know the maximum depth of the quarry? I went there my first time this year to the Badfish concert in sept 25th and had an awsome time.

  • @TheWaynelds There's a trench by the sunken boat, it is close to 80 or 90 feet deep in the bottom.

  • @flyingnittanylion thats it?! I thought the maximum depth was like 500 feet deep. Thats how deep the indigo lake quarry is here in Akron

  • Does anyone know if the Quarry offers air refills or rents tanks?

  • @Sharpie3236 NO and NO on tanks and fills

  • I love the Ledges and I only live five minutes from there :)

  • @8xXDARKLORDXx8 your lucky

  • @8xXDARKLORDXx8 I would say that's awesome, but that fucking town only has one gosh damn gas station and it's closed on sundays? (The one down a few miles from the road from the park) We had to drive to the nearest gas station, which was in Warren, practically on fumes.

  • So the thing that was spent the most time on in the video is the boat? I went swimming there today for the first time & they have buoys floating to show where the boat is but the water was not as clear as it is there. Do you guys ever get to see the crane and all that that is at the bottom? I want to scuba dive there.

  • @windhammites07 you have to go late spring/early summer for the water to be clear....before the algae growth of hot summer days

  • you can actually swim to the boat without any scuba gear

  • @fuzz165 correct. the boat isn't out from shore very far. I think it was around 30 feet there to the bottom. Just to the north of the boat is a deep trench. I think it goes 80 to 90 feet to the bottom. Very dark and spooky through the algae.

  • I go there EVERY YEAR and have always wondered whats down there, was that a bathtub I saw??? and what was that giant thing that had the snail on top?

  • Yes, that was a bath tub....there is also a toilet somewhere that I have "sat" on before, but couldn't locate it this trip. The large structure is a sunken cabin boat.

  • the water is soooo clear there...It's hard not to drink it while swimming in it...hafta remind myself that it's swimming water, not drinkin' water, haha

  • haha, this is a grate video :)

  • wow man i felt like aquaman!

  • what a cool video....it was nice getting a view of what was under that beautiful water.
