  • your all fucking idiots he caught the ball in his HAND STILL IN HIS HAND ITS A CATCH!

  • Great catch Symonds. Australia 4 India 0. Suck it up till it hurts.

  • he caught the ball in the lower half of his hand, that's it looks like he used to ground to keep it in his hand, but if you look closely, you see that he had it in control before it touched the ground. I could explain how you can see that but cbf

  • whats with the music

  • walk ya cunt

  • ball is grounded u motherfucking aussie bitches, go and ask ur mom's how to take catches ,

  • that's not cheating it's just an unbelievable catch

  • An overwhelming response by viewers going against your opinion should be enough of a reason to either change to the title of this video to "Sensational one handed grab by Roy sends another Lankan batsmen packing!" or remove the video all together.

A trip to OPSM wouldn't go astray either...

  • Have you noticed that the only people that make these videos claiming that Australia cheats are the Indians and Sri Lankians who constantly get raped by the Australian players? Stop fucking bitching and take the loss

  • Quite dramatic music....

  • Im in that pointless part of youtube again

  • Nice catch Roy.

  • That's out u dick

  • name of Australia team should be "cheater gang". and dis video shows that dis name is more suitable to them.

  • @vikas6100 you are scum of the earth mate

  • all are baste red to say dis is out. actually this is not out all ausi cricketers are cheater

  • @vikas6100

Learn to spell before you contribute

  • OUT

  • for all who say this is a legitimate catch, what i v got to say is, it is NOT ! You can't ground the ball even after taking the catch!!! So it is not out... The batsman just walked away because he thought that d*** hasn't cheated..... The uploader is right....

  • @MegaMane92 You can ground the ball as much as you want after you've caught it. In cricket, the definition of a caught is to gain full control over the ball on the full off the bat. That is precisely what Symonds did.

  • mate your an i diot slow motion just proved that was out

  • @TheIraqisport whatever you say -matey!! You seem to have e different set of eyes than the rest of us 'idiots'!!

  • De Silva walked as soon as the umpire made the out call. He knew it was out, I know it was out and as much as you hate to admit it, so do you

  • Clearly caught that about 5 cms off the ground. Not sure why the heading he is clearly not cheating here.

  • thats a deffs catch, wheres the ball mate? you nee thicker glasses...

  • Aussies are fuckin cheaters!!!!!!

  • @TheKhannoman83 because we're better than you at cricket? pfft please mate stop making excuses

  • Out.

Caught before it hits the ground.

  • The batter wasn't in doubt that it was caught he walked right away.

  • ha come to my room I'm all burning

  • pfft Subcontient poofs are at it again. Calling us cheats. If people are gonna have a winge about this and claim it cheating, yes sri lankan arsewipes i'm talking to you, then why don't you upload footage of every single wicket that that chucker took and try to justify that?

  • i wonder if the uploader is sri lankan lol

  • wat a catch so clear!!!

  • HE caught it legit, dropped it, regathered it, and claimed the catch

  • so Lets rock baby

  • had his fingers wrapped around the ball b4 hand hit the ground, obviously clear legal catch

  • i love the debate. both sides have striong arguments

  • That is a catch every day of the week. Finger between the ground and the ball. OUT!!!!!

  • @TheRealScotta God I dont see how you could even come to the conclusion that his finger was between the ground and the ball. The ball was clearly grassed. And that is NOT OUT!!!!!

  • sweet catch you filthy curry-eaters! doesnt get much more obvious

  • Clearly a catch. u dickhead, momentum brings him towards the ground after the catch is taken :)

  • Nice catch Symmo.....I reckon it'll take 5 more of these "cheat" videos to get me fired up to find an Indian student to bash..........I AM joking.......sort of.

  • clear as day, good catch

  • "see this to believe" - yeah i saw it, and its out you fucking wanker.

  • Afterall you are sons of thugs and criminals.Do you that you have class and moral values?Hell no.So just die bitches, this is no place for you dying pussies

  • Your moms are holes with big breasts.Really enjoys them a lot.Eat cancer bitches, that u have lot uranium ore in your country. And love your families dead in wild fire, pussies.Enjoy your barren land which grows nothing and eat and live your life with chinese shits.Bitches who moans and grunts every time.We also know you people had eaten up all aborigines in your country during famines.

  • @SandyRocky69 So, you're saying...our women are buxom sex-godesses, we're blessed by natural resources that fuel consistent economic growth, we're toughened by a harsh land, we're sparsely populated yet vibrantly multicultural, once again our women are sex godesses and we've used creative ingenuity to build a prosperous society in a difficult environment. Thank you sir, we appreciate the compliment. I wish I could be as nice about your country.

  • @mcnesta80 No he's saying your mom's a whore, but you are determined to call her ypour Goddess! So have it your way zany shit-eating,spit-licking toad!

  • @scammamish lmao, my mum's dead, so I assumed he was talking about the mothers of Australia as he used the present tense.....I'm having trouble positively spinning your bile though, well done sir, your trolling technique seems to have defeated mine;) lol...I guess I am eccentric, culinarily adventurous and I swim in the ocean every day, so you could call me an amphibious creature. BTW, doesn't everyone lick spit? You can't avoid it really.

  • he caught it then his hand hit the ground, still in control of the ball.according to rules of cricket as set out by the mcc this is a fair catch.do you care to elaborate on how he cheated pls

  • Clear catch. Murali throws. End of story.

  • nah nah nah this was a catch you tool, cusped his hands

  • Bloody superstar catch, u jungle monkey pakis accuse everyone of cheating, and murali is a chucker and an ugly fucker to boot so suck my 8====D

  • Hes very much caught that cleanly, his hand has then hit the ground, what wrong with that? Stupid fkn sub continent scumbags throw the cheating word around ALOT when they arent talking about their own goddamn teams...

  • dead set catch!!

  • 100% caught and murali is a chucker

  • @ozbloke74 hahah you stirrer, classic aussie humour

  • Symonds is a monkey

  • murali doesnt chuck its been proven time a and again when the icc checks his action..... aussies r cheats

  • lol i love uk

  • lmao you really are thick, of course he chucks without him cheating, where are the Sri Lankan cricket team now??

  • challfour hey, motherfucker do you know what cricket is? If you'd have known the rules of cricket, you'd have not written the bullshit comment. u understand. scum austrailian.

  • challfour hey, motherfucker do you know what cricket is? If you'd have known the rules of cricket, you'd have not written the bullshit comment. u understand. scum austrailian.

  • @mahipatel599 What you type is bullshit, chucking in some sware words does not make you look tougher or what you say right.

Typical indian slum rat, enjoy you third world, disease ridden, poverty stricken and shit cricketing Country (india)

  • @T0MMO11 : Mr. whatever....Plz mind ur language and ur own business. How do we live in our country, is none of ur business. you first go and protect ur culture, society and try to learn some manners. Doesn't matter how we live....we don't ask you for anything. We may be poor, still we are wealthier than you in any...ya....any aspect....money, food, culture, land, manpower, civilization and brain.

  • @sanosss1 Tell your mate to learn some "manners"

india are the least deserving and most lucky WC winners ever.

  • LOL, referral system? Dickhead, it hadn't even been invented then. referrals only started about a year or two ago, this match was almost 3 or 4 years ago.

  • @TheRainMaker2008 shut up you dickhead motherfucker kangaroo.

  • @mahipatel599. Wow your ability to throw chat is amazing. 'dickhead motherfucker Kangaroo' what the fuck are you on you back water scum. How funny is it that the only sport that Sri Lanka and Indoa play is cricket and yet you cant even beat the Aussies in it. Fucking retards

  • They changed the rules just for him didn't they?? the rule clearly stated prior to the change you cannot bend your elbow. If he couldn't comply with this he should have been banned simple logic really, can't go upsetting the Sri Lankans can we.

  • Caught it! Fingers were shielding ball from ground!

  • I second Mehaha, clear catch you muppet!

  • Very strange symonds

  • Clear catch you muppet.

  • clearly out. The uploader obviously knows nothing about cricket. Law 32...and the ball is caught by the bowler or a fielder before it hits the ground, then the batsman is out. The ball was caught by Symonds an inch or two above the ground and did not leave Symonds hand at all and therefore cannot be considered dropped by any rational person.

  • clearly a catch... about three inches off the ground.

  • let us all talk about cheaters shall we??? nobody happens to discuss the pakistani cricketers cheating do they, no no of course not. Let us discuss the Aussies cheating because we are the best cricketers in the world therefore we must be cheaters

  • at least he isnt fucking with the ball like a certain indian player did

  • Symonds is not a cheater......UMPIRES(F**KING) are cheaters...ofcourse some aussies cricketers ......eg: My favourite RICKY PONTING

  • I don't like Symonds, but that was a good catch. It is the umpire's decision in the end - sometimes it goes your way, sometimes it doesn't. That's cricket. Stop bitching.

  • AUS CRICKETERS ARE ALL CHEATERS EVER SINCE

  • glad I got to see so many slow-mo replays of a superb catch by Symonds.

  • Clearly caught before ball touches ground.

And when he bowls, he doesn't throw the thing like a certain Sri Lanken bowler

  • @challfour, Dude, go and read the rules before comments. There are clear rules that defines a clear catch in Law 32: (a) (ii) and (c) would help.

And for umpteenth time, Murali is not throwing. Its a natural bending in his arm. Proven and cleared. Stop whining. It wouldnt justify the cheating done by Aussies.

  • @challfour @challfour he doesnt chuck u fkn idiot

  • @challfour watch proof that murali doesnt chuck on youtube

  • @challfour haha clean comment but got loads in disguise. lol.

  • @challfour Clearly you dont know cricket. You catch it before it hits the ground does not mean you are allowed to let the ball touch the ground when it is in your hands. His hands were clearly over the ball and the face of the ball touching the ground. So it was not a legit catch.

  • @challfour

Actually, it's fairly clear that although he does take the ball, he then grounds it whilst it's still not under his control. So yeh...

Also, if you have to pull the 'Murali is a chucker' card, you lose all respect from me.

  • I honestly think Andrewn Symonds made that, dude was THAT good a fielder. Better than Michael Clarke in his prime

  • everyone that posts a cheating in cricket video should just be banned

  • symonds was a fantastic player for australia...one of the best fielders i've seen...its not his fault...anyone in his place wd hv claimed the catch...its entirely umpire's fault not to've referred....however ricky ponting is surely a cheat...whether he's batting or fielding

  • he is a great cheater

  • varma444:Big crybaby.....See this to belive

  • Comment removed

  • AUS cricketers are always cheater

  • @jaskaunke learn how to write in proper english fucktard

  • @mase01100 teri maa nu karda fuck sala gandu lodu fudu salea time ban kithe milna dina teri maa de lun das kithe milna

  • @jaskaunke *ahem* Pakistanis? South Africans? *ahem*

  • grounded in my eyes..anyways it's long over now

  • When was this? 2008? And You People Are Still Complaining? In MY Opinion Its A World Class Catch!

  • Top catch, fuck off sooks!

  • big cheaterrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

  • you are a moron, u can clearly see its a catch, ur probably a sri lankan.....!!! Get over it.

  • If he caught that then Muri is a chucker!

  • great catch you half head

  • has Australia ever won the spirit of cricket award?

  • Comment removed

  • its a catch duhhh stupid sri lankan

  • thats a legit catch

  • He caught it first, then then the floor came into play not a cheat

  • another aussie cheat

  • @scuff946 if you take a catch like tht i dnt think ur gna own up to it being dropped m8

  • OMG man i miss symonds soo much. i am pakistani but im a huge fan of gilly and symonds. why cant they both just come back!! lol

  • thats the best catch ever, suck shit srilankin fag poofter fuckheads

  • good catch

  • @ayush5100 : hey chill mahn...

m an indian and nt an aussie...

i agree with u nd i aint against u bro...

  • Comment removed

  • yes!that's ridiculous.................it happened so fast,it's really difficult for symonds to decide it! we should'nt tag as a cheat............needless to mention i'm an indian

  • OUT! take a walk back to the pavilion and drink ur sorrows away!

  • Looked to me like that the catch clearly stuck before his hand or the ball touched the ground .... Out!

  • cmon man i dont blame symonds here at all.....it was a reflex catch .....and he didnt know that he havnt taken the catch cleanly......and if there was a doubt it should have been the batsman who should have asked the umpire that he wanted another look on that catch ,instead he didnt mind it at all......so calling symonds a cheat is a bit too harsh. And im an indian.

  • @MOHAN3469 yes!that's ridiculous.................it happened so fast,it's really difficult for symonds to decide it! we should'nt tag as a cheat............needless to mention i'm an indian

  • @MOHAN3469 If you have ever been in the situation to take one of those catches, it is extremely difficult to determine if the ball carried or was taken on the half volley. I spent a lot of time fielding in 1st and 2nd slip and i would sometimes have to ask my wicketkeeper if the ball had carried. It is really hard to tell at full speed.

  • AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE OI OI OI!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • australian cricket team cheater. ricky ponting cheat all the time and cry wn loos the match his face red n eyes open. biggest cheater

  • Comment removed

  • fuck you gulabjamoon this was a bumped catched clearly go show ur slave mentality elsewhwere

  • OUT

  • In India and Sri Lanka we are taught to call other teams cheats when we can't win or match their skill. Please don't be angry with us most of us were only born with 1 ball and a very short weener.

  • I am Indian and yes we cheat all the time. So do Sri Lankans. I need to go and have a good sook now because we lost to a shitty team like England who is made of at least 4 countries players.

Good catch Symonds they are jealous of your skills. We have nobody who can catch in India.

  • er... its a catch, he took it to ground? It did not bounce out? If he controls the ball before it hits it is a catch even if he shines it on the turf!

  • Calling Symonds a cheat no all the Australian are cheater

  • @MrEmuexport hey asshole dont think u r smart. fuck off . its clearly notout.

  • Oh yeah symmo is such a true guy. Such a gentleman and he never drinks, cheats , lies and never gets slosh on river banks and he never misses team meetings unlike others who go fishing. Proud of you symmo

  • thats clearly out you idiot. It hit his hand before the ground. So its not a bump ball. Read the rules you fuckwit...

  • Calling Symonds a cheat??? Muri chucks the ball, they changed the rules of cricket so he can chuck it.. he would not have made it past under 12's cricket if he played in Australia.. check your own players before you start calling other people cheats..

  • Thats out...im english. doesnt matter as long as its in his hand before the ground which it is.

  • Comment removed

  • Bloody Aussies Bloody Loosers they can only win sydney test kind of matches

  • Great catch. It would be a tough call as there is doubt, so could have been called not out. Still Roy's is an awesome feat.

  • an indian fan calling aussies ,cheats,WOW talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

  • blind commentators as well..

  • no symonds...most of the australian cricketers are cheaters..lke ponting ,clarke ..like they do with india in 2008 or 2009......

  • Are you doing this the cover up the fact that BBCI runs world cricket and therefore India get away with absolute murder on the cricket field?

  • Its alwasys great to read the comments when supporters from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka all come on here moaning about how bad the English, Australians and South Africans are (not seen any anti Kiwi ones). Be it for appealing, being better, getting out, and no one can ever play a cricket shot as well as Sachin ever etc etc etc.

    MASSIVE CHIP ON SHOULDER.

    Gerroverit.

  • Caught before grounded.

  • I bet whoever posted this is some seedy sri lankan who thinks he can change the world

  • @ogarman16

at least he is not racists and cheating is cheating admit it and yea world has changed india is world champion i am from pakistan and i admit that and yea pak beat ur seedy australia

  • this is wonderful catch...

  • @ashishkumar161988 at least i can speak proper English aint dat right

  • hahaha...India already answered every stuff to Australia in WC..Dont be jealous kangarooz... I love Fosters btw...hahaha

  • Crab shot deserved to get out.. If he didn't think it wasn't a catch, shouldn't of walked and appealed it to the third umpire.

  • you see the fact is that andrew symonds controlled the ball in his hand before he fell to the ground so it was a legitimate catch

  • @FACEPALM351 No, it counts as a drop

  • @FACEPALM351 what u just said doesnt make any sense! Its got nothing to do with 'controlling the ball' - you have to completely catch it, ie (in this instance) fingers under the ball before it touches the ground. Which Symonds clearly didnt do...as the ball touched the ground.

  • @rudeboydave Law 32 (Caught) - a fair catch- a catch shall be considered to have been made fairly if (a) throughout the act of making the catch (II) The act of making the catch shall start from the time when the ball in flight comes into contact with some part of a fielder’s person other than a protective helmet, and shall end when a fielder obtains complete control both over the ball and over his own movement. taken from lords.org. so clearly controlling the ball has everything to do with it

  • @FACEPALM351 only an aussie could believe thats a fair catch. You can only use control as an arguement if (1) he has control of the ball...and (2) the fielder is in control over his own movement...you cant use the ground to control the ball!! lol ...like symonds has clearly done...see 7 and 11 seconds...its physically impossible to leave the ground and catch that without the ball touching the ground he is no longer 'in control'

You have just proved my point for me :)

  • @rudeboydave I don't think that I just proved your point for you. In your previous comment you said that 'controlling the ball' has nothing to do with it. i was just saying that controlling the ball does have something to do with it. Symonds clearly has 'control' of the ball before the ball touches the ground, the ball sticks in his hand as he is falling to the ground, therefore, as per the rule I outlined earlier, it can be ruled as a fair catch. And it was.

  • @FACEPALM351 OMG! Are those green and gold tinted spectacles you're wearing?! lol There is no ball control here..and he needs the ball to hit the floor for it to stick in his hand. Do you even watch cricket...you know the part where they look for the hand going under the ball, so the ball doesnt touch the groud part, for it to be even considered a legitamate catch, if its not, the 3rd umpires say "not out"...have you noticed that?

  • @rudeboydave i do actually watch cricket mate, my dad played for australia, yes they do look for the hands going under the ball. but in this case symonds clearly had the ball sticking in his hand before it touched the ground. you may as well say that there never is a fair catch as they always throw the ball up after taking the catch, as you say having no control over the ball. besides australia smashed the fuck out of sri lanka that day, honestly i think you a little jealous.

  • @FACEPALM351 right so your dad played for australia, course he did, so u must know the rules then! Aussie cheating rules are not what the rest of the world plays by; this may count in Australia, be we play with rules, and did you say jealous? of what?knowing how to cheat?? - If a 'sportsman' cant be honest and play a game properly in the spirit of the game, they shouldnt be playing it at all. He knew he didnt catch that, but he still carried on like he did and watched the batsman walk. Disgrace.

  • @rudeboydave he did i will send you a pic of the baggy green if i have to, Aussie cheating rules you say, well seeing how Australia was colonized by settlers from England, the home of cricket, we play by their rules, the rules of cricket. how dare you say that Australians cheat at cricket, again you are just reaffirming your jealousy by making fanatical and grossly incorrect statements like like that.

  • @FACEPALM351 Hw dare me? :O oh! fanatical :S oh dear, u are confused.

1)I work on facts, I dont need a history lesson. Australia was a convict colony, for British criminals...which has nothing to do with cricket.

2)No I dont want to see your dumb picture.

3)By believing I am 'jealous' in any way of australian cricket just about reafirms my thought that you are delusional.

  • @rudeboydave Sorry mate but, i happen to live in South Australia, a state that was settled by British migrants, not convicts, maybe you need to work on the facts and history lessons. Why can you not believe the rules of cricket, and accept the fact that Andrew Symonds had full control of the ball in his hand, above the ground, before his hand hit the ground, thus making it a fair catch in the umpire's eyes, opinions like your's are a hindrance to the progression of cricket

  • @FACEPALM351 How on earth(the very thing the ball was touching) is this a fair catch. When it went into his hand it was ok. But as he went down his hands were on top of the ball and the ball had been grassed. So it is not a fair catch.

  • Jesus u bloody indians sri lankans or whateva you just love to bloody complain at the Aussies! FFS why are yyou complaining at us when it was the bloody umpires fault. Do you have a bloody brain?

  • Gees Indians seem to be a jealous envious bunch of people... Or maybe it's just the ones that write on here. It's probably because cricket is the only sport your remotely good at and Australia has achieved ten times more than you ever will in the sport.... What a joke. If you all hate Australia so much... Please stop moving here...

  • @prwilkinson heyya... ur the ones who cheat and kill people.. so shut ur mouth u idiot...

  • @sai7ram cheat and kill people? And you're calling me the idiot... I guess everything I wrote previously was correct.

  • haha why does every youtube video about cricket turn into a racial argument? So pathetic, it a gentlemans game; remember that people

  • ALL AUSSIES ARE CHEATERS AND NO SPORTING SPIRIT JUST WANT TO WIN EVEN THOUGHT THEY DON'T HAVE ENOUGH OF TALENT LIKE OTHER COUTNRY PLAYERS BY USING THE UMBIRES.

  • once such a catch by rashid latif ended his career.... ohh i forgot he had to face the brunt since he was a pakistani and not a gora :(

  • it is not out
