  • I recently played a golf game and I was never soo pissed in my life trying to put a ball in too a damn hole .. And they said golf is relaxing .. Now I wan't too make a global armagedon with Golfing clubs.

  • It's not like every kid who plays violent video games is an Angry German Kid, that's just the stereotype that all kids learn from influences. Pychologically the game might activate the child's aggression, but most children won't have the guts to do the actual thing in real life, unless they learnt to do it from a stronger influence, such as parents.

  • Don't shoot the hostages ,Michael ... OMG 5 in-a-row HEADSHOTS!!! Damn, this is fucked up sick situation, but this dude earns gold on "EAGLE EYE" chalange.

  • how the fuck can they say that the video game made him shoot ppl?? what happen to crazy? can't you be crazy no more? alot of ppl play video games but you don't see them shooting others

  • @hakim0744 Quote Chris Rock, nice...

  • @SyntheticParanoia hell yeaph :D

  • violent game they don't make you more agrissive they make you more intelgent and clever cause you will have to use stratigi so you wont get killed and thinglike that

  • "BOOM HEADSHOT!!!!" - FPD Doug

  • I get more agressive when I play sports game then violent games....

  • greed.. profit.. marketing.. I feel sorry for the next generation. Digital dignity my ass..

  • lol retards, why test it with CS?

who DOESNT get aggresive when they get fragged in CS? wtf

  • Shooting in the game, and shooting from real gun is not evan close.

  • I don't like these type of documentaries, this is one of the reasons I stopped watching Discovery Channel. They don't mention the safe guards like ratings&c (1) The game was bought by a adult, unless it was stolen,(2) the weapons were available. Like drunken driving there are many checks that could&should be reached before these type of things occur. If the person is underage or not find out how they got something they weren't supposed to be able to get,& do something they shouldn't have done.

  • LOL JACK THOMPSON IS FINALLY IN THIS DOCUMENTARY i knew it

  • 100% accuracy? I don't believe it came from fps completely. You can't really feel the recoil physically, also the weight of the gun, the victims, and his physical fitness also come into play. If it was an heavy-machine gun, or a assault rifle, he would get very poor accuracy, he would not be able to control the recoil.

  • If someone plays for example Ace Combat, then that does not mean he is going to go around shooting planes out of the sky! Games are just games, its influence depends on who plays them. Its effects are different in psychos and a normal human being. A psycho can get violent from even reading a books about war, so does that mean all history books should be banned? Btw, it is quiet obvious you need to have aggressive thoughts when playing a fps, but the effects are not long term!!!

  • She even said it - There is NO CLEAR LINK between agressive thoughts and violent behaviors

  • What they said in 1:40 was just so..... annoying. Not all good games are super violent. spore is a good game, sims is a good game, and etc

  • so its games fault, some fucking psycho decides to go all CS in his school ? If games had that influance we'd be in World War 3 right now...

  • The second his voice kicked in I just knew it was mr. Thompson. As much as I hated his views on video games I'm a little curious, does he hate all games or just FPS? Either way, I think the report of 100% accuracy to the face is a little failing. Of course someone freezes when you point a gun to their face, and of course anyone can pull it off, stop glamourizing his 100% skill. Once again, there must be other factors leading up to the kid doing a shoot out, there always is.

  • He is an opponent of "Killing Simulations" or "Murder Trainers", any games that give a player the opportunity to murder another human being. Sure that sounds sensationalized, but that's what he hears in his head. He's rather zealous...

  • oh god please, claiming games makes people violent would be the same thing as watching a movie makes you more aggressive or even watching news. Damn the perspective is so one-sided...

Besides what's the chance that the brain activity is really 100% comparable to 'aggression'? I mean it's a word we humans invented, not something that literally goes in nature. What if it's simply a part of the brain that activates for certain strategies or in what way decisions have to be made?

  • What is it for game they are playing :D

  • webbers reserch is VERY flawed, he found that it had an effect on the brain at THAT time, not over long periods.

i would like to see the results of someone watching the news about the war on iraq.

oh and LOL at jack thompson, he has no idea what hes going on about

  • Exactly
