This track on this particular video has been re-vocalised. What I mean is that the vocals have been rerecorded over the top of the original tune. I'm not talking about sampling or mashing-up, but a session singer recording the same words and same tune.

The "original" that I was referring to is the one with the Janis Joplin sample, which all the DJs used to play when the track first came out in the early nineties, but if a DJ played this version you knew he was playing catch-up.

I don't know why the song was re-recorded with different vocals, but I'm guessing it may have been in order to avoid a lawsuit. Remember Black Box's "Ride on Time"?

That was a massive hit in 1989, which featured a sample by Loleatta Holloway, but after legal wranglings the vocals had to be rerecorded by Heather Small.

P.S. Gimpystinger's video has the "original" I'm talking about, as does OldSkoolChoonz amongst others.
