@TheJamestr Each game holds up to 64 players. EA still run over 100 servers for this game. There are also a few other companies that run their own servers for it. However they often have special rules of mods enabled.

Return it right away if you can, trust me it's not worth it. The idea for this game is perfect. However EA won't stop any cheaters, it won't update to prevent major bugs, the game is glitchier than anything I have ever played before. It would be fun, but the glitches kill it. (smashing into random air blocks with gunship, dying as soon as you spawn and getting a negative score, pilum overload, rdx demohopping, getting banned because you play well) are a few shitty things about this game ditch it

No, EA could fix them, but then again you and I already bought the game, they got their money and they dont give a shit anymore. I remember walking around and the game told me I got kills when there wasnt an enemy in sight, and no mines either. Shot down my ass, bouncing to the left in a gun ship isnt shot down idiot.

I SAID CHEATERS. Cheaters are not equal to glitches. Cheaters are hackers. Punkbuster is paid to release updates to stop hackers for BF2142. You must not have played bf2142 for a long time, i can tell. They patched so many glitches, here are a few, the squad droid levatation glitch, pod surfing, and several building glitches.

the funnest thing to do in battlefield 2142:

on titan get in a car with your friends and suicide crash into your teammate tanks/walkers and whatever vehicles. If you blow up from the impact and the tank is fine you force teamkills on the dude XD

Actually picked on this one dude who always sticks with a hover tank. Me and my friend crashed our car into him repeatedly and he ended up having -25 points before getting kicked for teamkilling XD

this game is still very, very much played buy a lot of people (just as all battlefield games have created a caring and dedicated community). I would say this game was very important for DICE because they tried new things with this game (like a much more extend number of unlocks with a lot of depth, a new game mode, etc...)
