I forgot another point. David is really unusually selfless. Even with Big Buddha's urging, he simply could not get himself to ask people to vote for him. All he could think of was that he wanted to make them proud.

He humbles me. I think Richard Parkinson, his pianist/music arranger, was right. As incredible a singer as he is, he is an even better person than he is a singer.

Please, VOTE ALL TWO HOURS for him this week and get everyone you can to help! David is a phenomenon! Win it for DJ!

David is not just a singer, he's an artisan and his medium is his voice. This version is different from the one he sang on Idol, but it's just as beautiful. He's like a jazz man who improvises constantly, but he sings pop with soulful styling.

I love this kid. He is out of this world.

By the way, I WAS THERE! I drove 730 miles one way to hear this angel sing. It was SO worth it!!
