Well, it looks like so because this video shows only the nice parts of Lithuania. It even looks like a sunny shiny country from this video, while in reality it's mostly dark and rainy. Combine that with old post-soviet apartment blocks and you've got yourself nothing better than Bulgaria :]

yes first time we went we flew to vilnius stayed for 2 days loved the old town we couldnt believe how cheap things were my wife wants to go back to vilnius she loved the city !

is there any snow yet ? do you speak any other languages ? we try to speak a little lithuanian but we find it very hard as you pronounce letters differently to us . we have a great laugh teaching each other new words ?

yes we have snow already. i have celebrated new year in Gran canaria (+25) and when i came back i saw a lot of snow, i was a bit shocked. according to weather forecast JAN should be cold, with some snow. i speak russian also. yeah, lithuanian its really hard to learn, one of the most difficult, archaic languages i believe. it will take u ages to learn it :)

hi we stay at a small hotel near our uncle in siauliai his grandson who lives in denmark is coming too he can speak english and lihuanian so we can comunicate ok it is very cheap for us because of the strong pound so we feel rich but in england we are just normal people we find lithuanians very friendly and warm and you live in a very beautiful country

yes its beautiful. i've been in london in nov i really like it also. warm city, good people. but the traffic kills me there :) (i mean because its not like in continental europe) once car nearly hit me there. damn:I. and the prices.. thats a shame my wifes dad who came over from siauliai during the war used to tell her stories when she was little about the snow and walking over the freezing lake ! hopefully it will still be cold enough to walk over the lake !where do you come from ?

i really doubt that you will see snow here even in January :) the weather has changed a lot during the recent years. Its almost like in UK now. Its middle of Dec now and we had snow only one week .. thats crazy...
