crosby missed 5 games of the regular season and semin 20.... and in the beginning of the season he was in the pace of getting 128 points...malkin won the league with 113 points....IF SEMIN stays healty he will be a top three player in the league and brobably better than crosby. No question about that and NO EXCUSES.

As much as I love Ovechkin, ( Ovie scores goals his own way, with his patented "use the D to screen" shot) Alexander Semin "COULD" be the smoothest, and have the best deke of any player. The reason for the "COULD" is because of health reasons and motivation " If Ovie didn't get drafted by Wash I don't think Semin comes over from Russia.

Alexander Semin has a flat stick with almost no flex, but yet he can shoot the puck better then most players in the leauge. He has the most intimidating wrist shot and some of the craziest moves, He has more NATURAL TALENT then ovie(HE's NOT better then ovie but he has the potienal to be as good as malkin. has 69 points in 52 games) Imagine if he played all 82 games. He would have 100 points or more. I would know this casue(CAPS FAN SINCE 97) i saw his first nhl game live to present time

so this is for the people that feel crosby is over hyped. do you honestly feel it is over hyping a player if he is the yougest player in NHL history to score 100 pts? the hype is on the future. what is necessarily wrong with hype if it helps sell the game? the nhl needs to promote anybody or anything that can give people excitement. witnessing the play of the youngest player in NHL hisotry to score 100 pts is exciting no matter what team you support
