  • wow! great training! sensei kankuo, I am already 38 yo when I started training kyukoshin karate; some people say that it would difficult for me to train hard because I am not young anymore, and my bones would be easily broken:-(

  • Dude nice power and speed ! :P

  • I'm not even there and I can feel the intensity. Stuff like this is a good example that people shouldn't be so close-minded when it comes to karate or knockdown karate especially in MMA.

  • i bet thos hurt more than they look OSU

  • I added this video to my favorite...OSU!

  • nice and sharp good impact

  • Very impressive

  • jajajaja, good work! de verdad, buen trabajo.

  • 55 kg

  • seems like that bag is quite heavy. What is the weight of the bag?

  • Fuck... And I thought I was dangerous.

  • Don't be mad at me your speed is good but not enough punch kicking POWER, you are not using you weight to max the whole moving mass.

Definitely you can beat someone on street not trained or not exercising enough, but not a pro top level martial artist,

no offence just saying what I am thinking after watch the clip.

  • BET HE WOULD HURT.

  • Incredible power

  • nice power in right hand

  • dude....your bad ass.

  • alot of power from your hips good stuff

  • Looks so much like Muay Thai these days.

  • youre really good, nice workout ^^

  • It's looking good, coming from Muay thai myself I can see what you're saying about not bothering about K1. I would say to stop bouncing around as much however.

  • Nice training. You are really a good fighter!

  • you have very fast hands.

  • Cristian Boldut?Zalau?Osu..

  • thank you all for yours commnets , but if you read the title "kyokushin training boxing bag " is for kyokushin competition not k1 , and in kyokushin competition we dont punch on the head,so .....if i train for k1 or kick boxing i keep the hands up.osu

  • @kanku0 OSU!

  • @kanku0 You should keep your hands up no matter what. That's the reason there are more high kick knockouts in Kyokushin Tournaments than there should be. Keeping the hands up will prevent a lot of those knockouts. Before you reply, you should know that I am a 3rd Dan in Kyokushin with over 28 years experience & I was trained by Soshu Shigeru Oyama in New York City. I started when I was 12 yrs old in 1982. The last 18 years I have been teaching also. Osu.

  • @dokokai

Im a 1st dan and train in london and will move to japan soon to get some proper training. i also completely agree with you!!! the hands should be there to protect your head in any style!!!!

  • @kanku0 you need to look out for head kicks too

  • @kanku0 hello im a fellow kyokushin practitioner, first off I love your videos, but I have a question. when I read your comment you made it sound like if Im not punching the body and my gaurd is low then im using kyokushin, but if im punching the face then im using kickboxing. But at my dojo we use jodan tsuki in our kumite so my question is if I dont practice the knockdown sport of kyokushin am I kyokushin fighter or just a kickboxer?

  • Yes i agree with ccthedragon. But in my club when we train vi have head guard. So it comes down to how you get trained.

  • is this the same style the GSP uses? Kyokushin?

  • gsp uses muay thai, but yh, he used to do kyokushin

i personally dont understand why, i dont see kyokushin kicks from him, i dont get why hes not using it

  • @TomMac10 yeah, wrestling and jiu jitsu when he has to.

  • well, he is fast indeed in his hands &feet. but his head guard is low / does not exist. that is one weak aspect of kuykushinkai; there aint many...

  • its a weak point, but at the same time, a kyokushin karateka punches to the stomach all the time, the opponent will be busy blocking those punches instead of bringing some himself

apart from that those kicks will do the trick too, if he moves in too rushed, the karateka will lowkick him, he will be out of balance for a short time and unable to create any power in his punches

  • are those isami gloves??

  • Muito rápido, boa continua assim ;)

  • @largentato hahaha,where did you get that from?xD

  • i am nothing to teach you but,by watching this video i already learned everything about your tehnique, aldo your kinda good

  • Good kyokushin training . Dojo looks cool . keep up the spirit

  • nice video man you got some decent hands, and good cardio too for sure. keep it up.

  • what's his name?

  • Cristian Boldut

  • nice left hook!

  • sure this is kyokushing?

the roundkick at 0:10 looks very muay thai

im not here to judge anyone, i dont claim to be an expert, im just curious

  • i'm very sure :D

at 0:10 is chudan mawashi or medium kick :-bd

    btw nice video :>:>:> !!!

  • u sure that looks muay thai? he kicks with his foot.

  • kyokushin is a modern form of full contact karate

u hit with the lowerpart of ur shin. high kicks are almost impossible to hit with the shin, ur legs arent longenough, so usually itshit with the foot

every other mawashi geri in kyokushin is hit with the shin

only traditional forms of karate hit with the foot, even though thetechniqe of the kick is identical lol

  • @CarlitoJohnson your mouth are full of shits..traditional karate forms kicks with shin too !

  • @Matthew770077 and ur english is full of shit too

i suggest u learn english, before u try to insult me, cause its pretty embarrasing

  • so fast..

  • he need to get bigger if he want to fight the japanese guys.

why is he useing gloves??japanese fighter work the bag without gloves.shit they hit trees too.

  • No need to be bigger. The smallest to win a Kyokushin World Championship tournament was 165 cm tall and 70 kg.

The gloves are for protection, and in Kyokushin your work in steps. You'll have to gain hand strength and such before you start hitting trees! If you start comparing yourself to others (japanese tree-hitters for ex.), then your not training with the Kyokushin filosophy.

  • man nobody hits trees anymore, its not efficient. he uses gloves to protect his knuckles from pealing. this gloves are baby karate gloves maybe 4 oz. Next japanese are exactly the biggest people on earth nor are they known for they're strength, moreover brazil and russia dominate kyokushin now so...

  • @electronikita

    that ain't true

  • no they were glove's too and while sparring besides even when training hard you need to train smart

  • what do you think working out does? (makes ya bigger) gloveless tree hitting is for strengthening your fists he isnt trying to do that.. nincumpoop

  • I just switched to Muay Thai after 10 years of Tae Kwon Do and I am used to punching the bag without gloves and actually prefer it. The gloves are really unnecessary, you don't need them if you aren't a beginner. Doesn't sound logical, but the gloves also mess you up because you can't clinch your fist completely. Never needed punching gloves.

  • if you dont need gloves and hand wraps for protecction when hitting the bag you are not hitting hard enough.

  • your an idiot :)))

  • horrible sound at 0:30 !!

  • fast verry fast!

  • very nice.. foarte bine. Osu..

  • geez, you beat that poor bag like it stole something

  • for all the people who are talking nonsense about the whole hands down thing , its just something in the stance , anyone with good budo training and form of authentic martial arts would know that the stance falls with the advancing of the practitioner , untill it reaches the shinzentai kamae which is the normal standing position. but that comes on its own, so stop the whole boxing coach "hands up" cliche, he is an experienced fighter.

    OSU

  • exactly

out of that boxing stance he couldnt hit good low and high kicks

if you are stanced like a boxer, u can basically use your hands very good, but even a mid-kick is already dangerous for you

apart from that i think boxing is way overrated. give a boxer 3 good placed lowkicks and he will have problems with his balance and everything

and you know how important that is in boxing! thats what it is all about!

  • thanks for the feedback ,i agree .

    OSU!

  • KYOKUSHIN OSU!!!!!!!!

  • HEY NICE STUFF!! I am in Kyokushin and I need a lot of work still! You have strong techniques. Any one know where i can get those shorts, I have been looking everywhere, i really want those.

  • this guy is ready to step into any ring Killnem301. He probably has many fights already. He can kick he can punch great.

sure his hands are low but then no one is punching him either. im sureyou get it.

  • Te recomiendo una cosa...cuando patees no hagas movimientos previos con los brazos, pues tiendes a anunciar tus ataques. Mira el video de Kancho Matsui y te daras cuenta de que el practicamente no mueve sus brazos al patear. Sigue adelante!

  • This is not Kyokushin at all. This dude keeps his hands below his chin the whole time. This is a habit even amatuer fighters often avoid. He is just doing it for fun thats cool. But I could tell you simply by watching this that he is far from ready to step in the ring and this is nothing more than a vein attempt to look cool.

  • Killnem301....You have no ideea wtf you are talking about..... sure!...your one of them ,,masters" who knows everything...he is one of the best romanian kyokushin fighter, and pls do not reply 'cause you'll say another stupidity..... thx....

  • you are a fucking idiot don't try put a fighter down because your jealous

  • First do not judge a martial art because of one person do in it. other wise i would say boxing sucks because i destroyed a guy on a street fight and he claimed to be a boxer.. or karate sucks because i got beat up on a bar fight... judge a martial art after training in that particular martial art. And i did muay thai wihich is great kick boxing not bad boxing pretty chllenging because you can't kick and finally the best of all Kyokushin unbeatable but that is my opinion

  • guy's no joke

  • nu prea ii asta kyokushin , mai degraba muay thai sau kickbox

  • there's no need for karatekas to put up their hands, cause they dont hit the head in competition. friends of mine dit practice karate too before starting with muay thai. its just a small flaw in the defense. but once they get used to it. they're just as tough to beat as boxer, kickboxer or thaiboxer.

  • Not true actually, U really have to Hold your hands. Cause A kick or a knee does Mutch damage aswell.

  • Not true you should always keep your hands up because someone could kick you or knee you in the head much stronger than a punch

  • nice, but i can counter that!

  • he is pretty good but it gets boring!

  • Osu !

    Sempai Boldut

    nice training

    Osu

    Kyokushin 4 ever...

  • shut the hell up

  • Everyone's with this hands up rubbish. The bag isn't punching back at him so why have your guard really high up. Look at videos of 'well trained' boxers on the heavy bag and their hands are generally no higher than his. It's a DRILL. He's not fighting.

  • that's the point you don't want to develope bad training habit's so keep your hand's up at all time's

  • speed is crazy wow :) i like it

  • holy shit he would knock a person out with every punch

  • this is like kick boxing and muay thai lol!

  • put your hands up maybe?

  • most of u don`t know what u r talking about i think! nice intensity and speed! and power! and Sempai Boldut! OSU!

  • OSU! Great intensity. People always assume that when a Karate-ka wears Muay Thai shorts they are Muay Thai fighter. For the people who don't know, Yes Kyokushin derived its kicks off of Muay Thai with a snap at the end. So yes Kyokushin fighters look like a lot like Muay thai fighters with a different stance, but don't telegraph our kicks.

  • I was thinking the same thing.

  • kyokushin ?

    looks more like muay thai.

  • Great hard hitting!

  • - 20% Mehrwertsteuer!!!

    Halt die Klappe!!!

    :))

  • esti beton omule.bravo tineo tot asa.bafta mare

  • Very very good.

  • good stuff

  • si mie de tine ,te astept cu drag :)

    love

  • ioioi ce dor mi de tine....si de sala...ce faine saltele si ce fain sac....eu vin acasa sa ne antrenam
