Your videos are now required viewing for my kids. I fashioned my own kubotan from scrap metal from the local iron works. Just like Tak Kubota's newer polymer style device with a knurled palm grip, only this one is mine. Think a fat piece of rebar. Spent 6 years in Kyokushin and Shotokan but that ended 15 years ago. You never forget the bushido. We can even pick each other out in a crowd. We're like cops in that respect, only without the bacon.
Great video, I really enjoy all your stuff. Subscribed! I was wondering if a thin kuboton as this is good for a beginner? And please more videos on daily carry items such as this that are legal and how to use them. Thank you for your effort in posting these.
@Philipeichor This Titanium Kubaton I would highly recommend for the novice or advanced student! All of Jake Khan's products are "must have" items and I promise you will not be disappointed with anything you purchase from his facebook page "Titanium Protection"! Thx U 4 the comment. I wish U great success in your weapons training! Osu!
@buddhastrike The kubotan i bought were not from this guy. these are my first, so i went with some inexpensive ones from amazon. I will be looking into Jake's when i get used to them. and when i learn how to use them. I am also going to see how the cold steel tilite 4 inch zytel will function as a yawara/kubotan this will as a possible lethal means if lethal force is needed.
Great video :)

Jake Khan makes some really nice "little nasties" (smile). This slim-line Kubotan really hurts. Hey, I should know - LOL! Well done, Sensei Buddha.

Hi Sensei - I always laugh when I see Ty shuffle into frame with that look on his face that he knows he's about to feel the pain. Good instruction.
